TIOA Sns 8 eps 106: Count listened to Katz talk about her day, he was dressed in black. He went in and checked on Anjel before leaving, he put his wrist on her forehead, it was not hot, she had finally broken the fever completely. Anjel still rested, she had slept for almost a full day. He got up and put on his mask, he knew she would not mind; she gave it to him before. Count took the sword from the wall and put it around to his back, he left the room. Katz had gotten herself something to eat. "What are you going to do?" asked Katz. "Take a look, you said you may have seen them, well maybe we should look in different places." he replied.
Count went up onto the roof, he went west; he passed the place he would normally go down and came to the main street. He looked up and down, there were very few people up and around. He waited, the way was clear and he went down the building's. He had been training his muscles and tried Anjel's way, he made it almost all the way down and started to slide, it cut into his hands. Count pulled his hands back before they could get cut, this caused him to lose balance and he fell the last
three feet. He got up and looked and listened, he could take that alley almost all the way. He ran across as fast as he could and went into the darkness.
Katz walked into the room, she looked at Anjel. Katz set down the bowl of warm water, she dipped a cloth in it, she wrung the water from it; she began to wash Anjel's face. She carefully cleaned around her eyes, mouth and nose. She was gentle as she could be, but it still was a bath, she scrubbed. Katz went down her neck, and to her shoulder's, she pulled the blankets down. The bruising on her chest was starting to fade. She slowed down and was very gentle around her ribs and the bruises, she dipped the cloth many times and took her time. She stopped and put the blankets back. Katz picked up the bowl and went back for more clean warm water.
Count made it to the top of the alley, if he understood her right it should just be that way and to the right. Count looked and listened, this run would be long. He waited and watched longer than ever, he looked up, the wall was not that tall. He climbed the building next to the wall, and took his rope, he slung it around and landed the hook on top, he tugged hard and tied off.
