@jpf880 positive thoughts and energy sent. Glad to hear she's at least home. Don't forget to take care of yourself too.

Goodnight Treefam. Happy dreams of shiny things.

Wow last day of June already. This month really zipped on by. Seems like it wasn't long ago I was complaining about the snow and cold, now the 4th of July is almost here. Of course I'm at work typing this, waiting on the coffee to brew. Won't be around much today, the bosses are coming for a visit. Hoping it's short and sweet. Have a great day treefam. @jpf880 Well wishes for you and the wife.

6/30 - 1: Good morning all, W on T, some are already starting the long weekend
I am sitting here waiting for a call to see what is happening today, no matter where it is or who it has been with, I have made them smile, laugh and take it a little more easy, to relax and enjoy some of the smaller things, the old diner, ooh look at that old house, things like that.

When is the last time you just watched the birds?

@jpf880 So glad that wifey is home now and know that will speed recovery.
@Mandikay We love weddings - yours is sure to go beautifully.

For those suffering in the heat - last night was heavy fog, heavy wind, COLD. I had to turn on the heat.

Good morning, all. 60 degrees here at the moment. I woke up needing a blanket at 3 am.

I wish it would get below 60 here at night.

When I'm home, I watch Osprey, Ravens, Scrub and Stellar Jays and black birds. At work, I get to see Canadian Geese and various hawks, so I'd say daily. ;)

Have a great day, everyone!

Good morning, everyone. Windows decided to update last night... except it failed to restart initially, which meant that I got to sit through the installs and three reboots (it did just fine after I manually rebooted). Still amazed at how much slower Windows 10 is to boot compared to Windows 7, though. Must be something it doesn't like at start-up....

Happy Thor's Day y'all. Yesterday evening was strange. I saw a black cloud on the distant NW horizon as I was getting ready to mow the dog yard. Normally, thunderstorms in summer come from the SW, and the surface wind was blowing from the south, so any logical person would have not worried about that black mass, but you guys know me by now, so I kept watching it as I mowed and it kept coming closer. I said, "I gotta get this done before the rain starts." There was no rain or T-storms in the official forecast, but I knew better this time. Just as I was finishing the mowing, a few drops of rain hit me in the face, so I raced to the shop to put the mower away. Wind gusting fiercely, rain now pouring (although that only lasted about 20 minutes), and the temperature dropped from 85 to 60 in just a couple minutes. When it was over, I went outside and could not find the cabbage hat I made for the garden (a 4'x4'x6' cage, covered in screen-door mesh to keep the bugs out). Then I saw it, upside down, 100 feet the other side of the brush pile, and it's broke. Guess what repair work I will be doing today.

This morning, during chores, and every day. Of course, if you were referring to Bodega Bay ("The Birds" is coming), it's been years since I watched that movie.

Welcome to ECF @Robbie graham Check out this neat contest thread where you can win some really good e-liquid just by chatting with the great folks who hang out here (see complete "rules" on page 1). Lots of fun here! Nicest people on the forum and you just might learn a thing or twelve... :)
