TIOA Sns9 eps 27: "Well look at you Misty, you have some energy in you, like someone I know." Angel pulled back and looked at Misty smiling. "You know what Angel? Darlin can make weather. Isn't that cool? My mom can make weather." Misty said while looking at Angel very seriously. "Oh, yes I have heard that, she let me watch a few times as well." Misty was bouncing on her feet a little and stopped, she said. "Oh yeah, I forgot you both lived together...." her eyes got a little bigger. "Uh oh, we sleep in your room." Angel laughed a little and said "It is okay sweetie, I have not been here for a while, that is your room."
Misty was very pleased and put her two little hands together. "You can come and visit." she said smiling very big. "I would enjoy that very much." said Angel back, she rubbed Misty's hair as she stood up. Misty was the spitting image of Darlin in her younger days. She had straight blonde hair, blue eyes, stood around 2'8", hyper and lots of energy. She had on a dress, but it was not because of the garment being for girls, you could tell it was for the freedom of her legs to stretch and run. There were small new rips in the dress and a lot of dirt on the knees and around the fringes.
"Okay, we will continue to visit and get to know each other more later, tomorrow. The children should really go eat, bath and do their homework." Darlin looked at her children and they all four looked at her and knew she was serious about the homework and bathing. "Yes mother." said Hunter and looked at the two youngest, Misty stood back a little, her eyebrow dropped a little and she walked with less enthusiasm following Hunter. "I can do my homework in five minutes." Misty pouted. "Then finish your things quickly and you have a chance to come back out later." said Darlin.
"Do not be rude, say goodnight before you leave." said Darlin as the children started back towards the doors, they all turned with smiles on their faces, save Misty, hers was fake. "Good night everyone!" The group said good night back and a few waved their hands. Darlin watched the children leave, with two guards and the door shut, thick doors that made a large sound when shut. Darlin and Scott still stood side by side, and came forward.
Blue went towards Scott and started to talk to him, Darlin said "We have to sets of rooms for each of you. The best view will be from above, and your rooms are just below ours, if you would like instead we have very nice accommodations down here on the ground level. That way you do not have to climb the stairs to go up. We do have an elevator, but only two people should go at a time, as we do not devote much electricity to it. We will have your luggage taken to the room that you choose to stay in." Uncle spoke first. "I will take the elevator up and a room with a view thank you." Blue heard this and spoke up next. "I think I will take the elevator up with Uncle, if you do not mind." Darlin looked at Blue and said. "That is fine, and if others want to wait, they can. It will probably take us longer to walk up, so we are going to get started. Just push the button below top, that says second floor." Angel said nothing and was going to walk the stairs with Darlin regardless. Mandi, Katz, Count, the pilots and stewardess followed Darlin, and walked with Scott.
Katz looked around and said. "Where is Anjel?" Darlin heard her and said. "She told me she was feeling pretty tired and had asked to be shown her room already, so she could rest and try to sleep some. Each room has some food in it, if you get a little hungry, or need a snack. If you get real hungry, you will have to come back down here to the great dining area. The kitchen is just to the north of there, but you should be able to find someone to help you. We have almost anything you could think of ready. There are small microwaves and fridges in your rooms, with refreshments. We have everything on direct current, that saves us around 80% of electricity."
The group walked the steps listening and looking at some statues along the way, Mandi said. "Those are nice and very well done." Darlin kept walking up the steps and laughed a little. "I am not sure who made those, it was not me. Funny, in that this place did not exist, but I do not know all the people who once lived here." After a time, and the group realizing how out of shape they were, starting thinking they needed to work out more, or the elevator was their new form of travel.
Darlin took off to the left as the stairs went up further. "Okay, we have made it, this is the floor that you will be staying on, ours is one floor higher. Each room is fairly identical." Darlin said as she walked to one of the doors in front of her. The floors and walls were still stone, about
three feet by three feet, fitted with small crevices between. The doors were not squared off on top, but had a half circle, Darlin grabbed the door handle and pressed down on it. The handle went down and swung, letting the door loose. Darlin pulled on the door, and it opened towards them.
"Come on in, and see what it will look like." said Darlin as she stood holding the door. Uncle and Blue were already waiting in the hall, when the others arrived. They had enough time to look at a painting on the wall, of some man. A simple but nice wooden table below, with two electric candles adding some mood lighting, other torches were on the wall, but electric as well. There was the smell of smoke, something burning, so some of the torches must still be real and burning fire.
As the group entered the room each was able to see, the stone had changed to a nicer tan look, the walls had long flowing drapes, thicker ones near the windows. The drapes were pulled back, and four large windows could be seen with a set of double doors in the middle. The group kept walking in, and Darlin passed them towards the outer doors. "You should have a great view from here." Darlin said as she opened the doors. There was a big queen sized bed, intended for just one, four large pillows and many smaller ones. There were three layers of blankets if needed, the top very thick and heavy, beside the bed on both sides were small desks, just at the right height to allow the lights on top help with reading at night.
To the left as they walked the wall stopped and turned 90 degrees to the left, there was the microwave and fridge a sink with piping for water. A door was shut, with a sign on it. "Bathroom." Darlin had the double doors open and walked outside, the group followed out onto the balcony. Below them was the city, they could look beyond all the walls and see the land open before them.
