Wasn't planning on hit any stores or sales this weekend then I found out that a couple of gun stores here will have some really good deals. Going to get up sort of early on Friday to go to one to try getting a little Ruger .380 then I'll go to the other to see if they have any ammo left.

I did my Christmas shopping for me already, my last thing for a long, long time.

Good morning and happy Thanksgiving to everyone :)

Well I am very thankful my house is still standing today. I had quite an issue yesterday afternoon..so let's see I got off work and then I stopped at the dollar store to pick up some more disposable pans on my way home. I saw they had some candy on sale so I picked some up for the girls and headed home. I usually come in and preheat the oven while I take a bath. So I turned the oven on and then the kids walked in and I handed them the candy. Alexis couldn't get hers open so I walked in the living room and was helping her with the candy for a few minutes. Then I walked into the kitchen and noticed the oven looked lit up on the inside, I know that light bulb has been burnt out for a while so I walked up and looked through the oven door. It was sparking really bad, looked like someone was welding inside my oven, so I immediately turned the oven off and it was still throwing sparks bad. So I opened the oven door and it burst out in flames as soon as the air hit it!! I'm freaking out and am trying to figure out how to get it out.. I'm looking everywhere for the fire extinguisher and I can't find it.. So I'm hysterical and I grabbed my phone trying to call David. I know David number but I was such a nervous wreck I couldn't think of it. The whole time the fires getting worse. I tell the kids grab the animals and keep them close because at this point I don't know if I can get it out so I want to make sure we are all together incase we have to make a run for it. I finally get David on the phone he was already in the driveway.. Thank goodness.. He runs in finds the fire extinguisher and naturally it won't work!!! So while he is trying to get it out I am running to the neighbors trying to see if anyone has a fire extinguisher and David runs out the house and tells me he got it out. Thank goodness he got home when he did.
So needless to say I won't be cooking anything I was supposed to be cooking :(
I could sit here and be mad and angry, but honestly that was a really scary experience and I realize how much I could have lost. So instead of being mad, I am thankful that our house and family are all here and doing fine :)

So that was my crazy Thanksgiving story.. I will definitely never forget this Thanksgiving.

About to go start getting ready I hope everyone enjoys their day :)

Wow I didn't expect to see so many people up this early posting........
Hope it goes fast, and yes amazing; like the tree fam knew that some needed that good vibe. Oh hey Count just something to think about, in the game to come. Ours is a first year quarterback, learning like the rest of the team on their second year. Save one thing, the Texans have the stingiest secondary in all of the NFL, well have to check after the Raider game. Nice @jpf880 , like I said may it be fast @liblue1 , saw you @rangerrobin ;)

We had a little scare at our house last nite. We all heard a big noise, sorta sounded like a door slammed , I just thought it was my son upstairs but when he came down to check on Wifey I knew it was something else. I grabbed the Colt on the nightstand and came outta the bedroom with it at low ready, when my son saw me he went around me and grabbed the AR out from the safe. We went through the whole house kinda like a swat team , we even checked the garage . Molly was right at my side the whole time. We didn't find anything wrong so I assume it was a tree branch falling of the tree beside the house. It was kinda scary but a great feeling to know we were ready.
