Howdy Folks!

Well looks like I will be joining the working world again, starting Monday...the good thing is that it's only 2 miles from my house...the downside, I have to go back to working 5 days a week...I'm going to do it on a 30 day trial basis because I'm not really sure I even want this job...at the interview found out it involves quite a bit more than they advertised, so I told them I'd do it on a trial basis and then we'd negotiate my pay after that...still will be starting at what I was making before, but if this job is as involved as they say then it'll have to pay more for me to stay...At least it'll give me money for Christmas.

So glad you found something close to home, but 5 day work weeks. Ugh... Good luck!

11/21 - 2: Howdy all, first job this morning hanging lights on a slate roof, very slick; I and the other both slipped when I did boom and cracked the glass on my phone Will see if there is replacement glass.

I am done for the day.........I took 2 full loads to storage (just my van full)...so that's enough for today....it's raining again.....I managed to work in between the showers.......our highs & lows are less than 10 degrees......both in the 40's........so the temp. was right for starting this today.......

11/22 - 4: Well done Blue, cooking dinner right now.
Then when you turn around you see this, a little desk where you can read and see over into the living room as well.

That really is all I have, one of the basement, but you get the idea of the wood work, grain and color, the stairs down not as elaborate as these, but still nice and squared. A door with a lot of holes, laundry drop. Did not make it through to probably 1/4 of the house, and the kitchen was nice. Terrible to try and do electrical work, plumbing or other on a house this old, as they are made so sturdy and usually plaster, and no space between walls. But it has been upgraded well, with new lights and wifi, new plumbing, heating and air. Yup I would live there.

Looks like a productive day in the treehouse.

I'm down to one more hour at W for today then back tomorrow morning and then 2 days off. Glad to miss the BF craziness!

Hey, in my defense, have you seen how well the Chargers like to lose? Just sayin'....

It is okay Count, from what I read and see the Texans were actually robbed. A touchdown by Hopkins not given, first down on a 2nd, 3rd and 4th down; even reviews showed they had a first but not given. Reffing has been bad, but this year; makes you wonder if it is truly fixed. Good news is we can vote for our own teams this week.
