How old do kids gotta get before they listen to their parents? Wife had the kid send out 2 packages - 1 for his brother and 1 for me. He sent both to his brother. Guess he needs another smack upside the head.
You're not filling me with hope for the future of my two kids, Mac....

Guess I can add to that as well, the radio and three online weather sites got it wrong, good thing I did not listen. Walked out the door at 28 degrees in 15 minutes it was 18 degrees, cold wind from the north. Partly cloudy they said and the sun would be out and hit 42. It was well past lunch before the sun showed its face and fingers and toes got cold. So had the radio out and they were advertising a contest where they would host food and drinks the works for the Super Bowl game between Atlanta and Indianapolis :glare: huh?

I have been working with wall puncher and we actually had a decent conversation through the day, and he certainly likes better music than gangster, classic rock, 80' 90's... Showed me a funny video, wonder if I can find it.

1/25 - 4: Found out we have three weeks of digging, ditching and cement. Lots of lights in a new rich sub-division. While we were out saw a Popeyes and it was on my mind all day, made my tummy growl all day. So after w decided to get a 9 piece family meal for the two big sides, red beans and rice really like that stuff and mashed potatoes and gravy. Need to add some meat back to these bones, and will be enough for a tasty lunch tomorrow. So yeah it was decent, we prepped all day for the pour tomorrow.

I had a very productive day today. Cleaned out one of the springs that leads to one of the ponds....Which is pretty much the whole side of the yard...Lol I carried wood to the porch...again. I cleaned the last flower bed out again. All this rain has washed so many leaves and branches from the woods down. I still have the other side of the house....It has like 9 springs or more on it. Only a few constantly run, but all have been running with all this rain. My dog attacked my duck yesterday. Duddy is OK, but he is stoved up. He is eating, drinking, and walking :) The poor little guy is sore, but thankfully he is ok. He followed me around snatching up the worms in the leaves. He was slower than he normally is so the chickens beat him to alot of them. I felt bad for him so I started getting them for him..Lol I always end up worm hunting with the birds when I do outside chores :)

1/26 - 1: Mornin all, eyes opened a few seconds before the alarm at 5:30. Have been eating slowly as breakfast is not my thing, but know I will need it. Saw a joke and thinking of posting it later, but it is of a religious nature..... Have a fast day Angel, enjoy the three days off Dale. Well about time to roll, so need to finish getting drinks a food ready, later.
