I, too, avoided CE2's because I was reading about leakage and cracking tubes, but after I watched Minefield's review of'em, I placed an order.

Coming from an Ego-T that leaked like a stuck pig, I've had no leaking issues with Fluxos. I DO mod them slightly, removing all but the center top seal (and fluff the wicks), but it doesn't take more than two minutes and I'm done.

If you lay Fluxos on the side, I expect they will probably leak, but I always keep'em upright (even in my pocket).

I see GotVapes has a larger Fluxo on sale right now that I might have to try (click here to see it).

Here's what I'm using (click).

Just got my Lavatube a few minutes ago, was very excited, and looking forward to using it. Great fast shipping and looks like a really nice PV. One thing though, my plus (+) button seems recessed. It is very difficult to push because it barely sticks up. The minus (-) button is just fine. Anyone have any suggestions without me having to send this thing back? You can push it, but it would be a pain in the ... to set the voltage each time with the button how it is. If there are any suggestions to fix it I would try myself. Really the last thing I want to do is have to send it back already. With the holidays, who knows when I would get it back...

Oh and I had another question. I am waiting on batteries to come in. Volcano was out when I ordered so I had to go elsewhere and ordered some IMR 18650 1600 mah batteries they suggested. I think they are the flat tops, but I am not sure till I get them. I ordered mine from Sweet-Vapes.com

My question is I have some UltraFire BRC 18650 3000 mah 3.7 li-ion batteries and I stuck them in there and it seemed to work. I didn't actually attach a carto or try to vape it, but I wanted to see if it would turn on. These are protected batteries, but I got them rather cheap and have used them in another mod, but not a VV mod. Anyone else try a battery like this, or would I be crazy to try it? I figured with the protection I would be okay, but wanted to see what you guys think... I did push the red button 7 times to check, one battery read 4.0 the other one said 3.9...

I dunno kalojado; sounds like something didn't get aligned properly on your unit. All the buttons on mine work very easy (so far). One of the good things about Volcano is their 30 day guarantee, so let'em know ASAP. Maybe you can use it through the holidays, then send it back?

As for batteries, I'm too new at this to have any info. Somebody else will have an opinion, I'm sure.

Yeah, that may be a good idea. I will contact them next week I guess after I get it working to see how they do. The only good thing is I know the voltage goes both ways, so even if one button is not working, you can always dial it the other was... I just dont want the thing getting stuck in there...

Yeah, I have been vaping for about 2 and a half years, but this is my first VV device. I have never been that worried about batteries. I know the dangers, have even used unprotected stacked batteries for a long time without issue.... (and I am not condoning anyone else do what I have did... I just am stupid I guess, lol, but hell, we were all smokers and that was pretty stupid too!) I just dont know about the vari volt and how that effects the battery and that is the only reason I haven't tried it yet. The LT has built in protection and my battery is protected and there is a vent hole, so the way I look at it, something would have to go terribly wrong for something to happen... But still, I am a bit leery and wonder if anyone else has tried any li-ion batteries at that high of a mah...
