got mine today too Mike. Unfortunately, I got one of the ones with the QC issues having the crooked 510 connector, and there are a couple scratches on the finish, but aaaah well what can you expect for 69 bucks. It definitely hits well though, I am not complaining about the performance.

You know it's funny, I just notice mine today and it is crooked, but just a little where I can notice if I look hard. But it is sure off a little. I think they are all like this to tell you the truth, its just really hard to notice. No biggy, as long as it works/vapes.

The problem I'm having is with the Arryv3 tank I have. It's fine no leaks, but the taste with the juice I vape with is a little different then without the tank. I'm trying to adjust the voltage but I can't find a happy medium to where I like it or taste good. Maybe it needs to break-in.

Well, I'm sure many of them are crooked... hell, I've seen it with my own eyes on a few reviews. But I gotta tell you, I'm holding mine up right now in profile against the white backdrop of this ecf screen, and I'm seeing nothing but right angles as I twist it. If it is off, it's by a fraction and not detectable with the naked eye.

That's too bad about the Arry tank. I saw Igetcha69's review of it and was highly impressed. Let us know if it breaks in and starts performing better.

Without the tank, what are you using?

Cartotanks are way cool, but cartos generally have a different flavor to them...

Best,
Ande

If I'm not using the tank, I'm either using a Boge 2.0 cart and a Smoktek DC. I guess I'm use to the taste of just using the cartos. maybe I need to get use to the tank. Don't get me wrong, I love the tank very much!..It's just the taste I'm having an issue with but it can be fixed I hope

Well, I guess I got one of the crooked ones then cause I can see mine not straight, not by a lot, just a very small fraction if I hold the tube with the window screen to the right.

Yes, I'll let you know about the tank, I really love the tank, the taste not so much right now, but it should improve I hope

I noticed a decrease in flavor using tanks compared to carto's. I liked the tank, very convenient but there was definitely a flavor cut. I used LR,DC,SC at all acceptable voltages and had the same results. Just an FYI.

Hi vaphed,

Thanks for the info!

I thought it was just me, I knew something wasn't right. The juice just taste different with the tank...Man, what a letdown. I really like this tank and like you said it is so convenient, but this taste is kiiling it.

Do you have any experience with the CE2 tanks? I hear the taste is clean on those. Jesus, I don't want to spend any more $$$..This is getting ridiculous already with the money spent on this stuff. lol

My wife says smoking was cheaper!..lol It's just not good for you though.

I got two of these yesterday. We love them so far. Both have pin stright atty connections (got lucky as im reading it ) One however has Zero brands on it, not on the tube or the lcd cover screen. Not a big deal at all just odd one got out with out a name on it.

Are yours black or silver?

I think all the black ones coming out are now 3rd production models and they resolved the off center 510 connector in the third production. Something tells me that these silver ones, which were available elsewhere prior to the US, are actually first or second production models. It seems alot of us with the silver ones have the off center connectors. Rather weird they missed the whole branding on one of yours, tho.

Hello NestoChe

I know what you mean. I really liked the tanks myself. No I have not tried the CE2's yet. I am currently using 2.5 and 3.0 ohm cartos on my LT and am satisfied with the flavor using them. Although there is a little more maintenance involved compared to the tanks. I may try some other type of cartos in the tanks after the first of the year and see if any of them do not mute the flavor as much. In the meantime I am just browsing around to see what others recommend as far as tank cartos.

Thanks again vaprhed for the reply. Yes, I'm going to stick with the carts. I have the Boge 2.0 and I'm waiting for some boge 3.0 from CCV. Like you, I'll wait until after the year to try another carto and see if it will improve a bit.

Thanks

YAY! IT WAS AT MY DOOR WHEN I CAME HOME TONIGHT! PLUS, the 2nd battery from a different vendor was in mailbox, so I got EVERYTHING today!! THAT was FAST!!! :D

I only had a few minutes, so I got the batteries charging, then went out to do some more shopping. Just now I've had a chance to inspect my Lava Tube and try it out.

As others have commented, it IS smaller than I thought based on videos and pics I've seen, but it fits my hand well. I see no blemishes or scratches, the bottom end cap seems to be solid (with a hole all the way through), the 510 connection pin seems to be straight (if it's crooked, I can't see it), buttons work well/feel good, and except for 'user error', everything seems to be working. All in all, it's beautiful!

In my first attempts to vape it, I couldn't get ANY vapor. I turned the digital display toward me, and noticed the LT was 'OFF'. I turned it 'ON' again, then tried to vape it again...NOTHING...and it had turned 'OFF' again!

I was beginning to feel irritated, and thinking to myself, "What kinda POS is this????" ....THEN I realized I was pressing the RED button! I'm almost embarrassed to tell you, but I had my dang finger on the wrong button, and was doing nothing but turning the LT 'ON' and 'OFF'. Fortunately, after I pressed the correct button, all worked very well! (Beware of USER ERROR!)

I started testing with the 3 ohm atty & DT, and it def made some of my less tasty juices more appealing. Interestingly, it seems my 'mostly PG' juices begin to taste a little burned above 4.8v, but my 'mostly VG' juices taste good all the way up to 6v.

Until now, I've been using Fluxos ('2.4 to 2.6 ohm' and '2.6 to 2.8 ohm' from Gotvapes) on my ego batts, and they are working beautifully on the LT. Looks kinda TALL, and certainly not as 'neat' as a tank, but I've got'em and I lik'em, so I'll try'em out for a month or two.

While writing this post, I've been hitting the LT (4.2v) with 18mg 80/20 PG/VG, and it's kicking me pretty hard. TONS of vapor, but the nic level is def too high for this setup (for ME). I've got an order in for some '0 nic' and '6mg' samples from Mom & Pops, and have a bottle of plain VG, so I'll experiment with diluting to a lower nic level to find my level.

The equipment really makes a difference, don't it?!?!? :vapor:

No doubt I'm gonna LOVE this thang, soon as I get the nic level lower!
IMO, WELL worth the investment, and NO REGRETS! :2c:

Interesting comments about a difference in taste between tanks and cartos. Seems that most folks like cartos, but I went from carts to tanks. I LOVE tanks (unless they leak), but cartos taste a bit different to me...not as 'bright' or something.

The XL Fluxos are like a very small tank of about 1.5 ml, use the CE2 innards with unbreakable tubes, and seem to hold up extremely well. I've only lost ONE in 6 weeks, and the other clean up to vape good as new, and taste very clean.

If anybody knows of a reliable CE2 style tank that holds about 4 ml max, I would try it (unless it has a reputation for leaking).

NestoChe, I hope that Tank taste problem you're experiencing clears up when the carto gets some use....but if you'd like to try a Fluxo on your LT, I'll drop one in the mail for ya. If you want it, send me a PM with your address and I'll take care of it. :)

rockin my Gorilla Juice at 4.7 this morning in my 3.0 ohm carto tank and life is pretty sweet. I am going to have to look into the flux's, you say they run good eh Mike? I have been steering away because of the leak reviews but maybe I will order up one or two and try em out.
