WOOT!! Got my blue one today...been vaping it like crazy!! Battery is going on 3hrs of non-stop vape and it's giving me full 3.7 power..not gettin' weak at all! Gonna keep going tonight and see how much longer it will go! The drip tip is really awesome too..wasn't sure I'd use it..but it's great! The size and weight of it reminds of the days of playing with my Zippo lighter...it has a really nice weight and feel to it and feels right in your hands. I can't put it down..it's like it just belongs there! It also doesn't weigh down my shirt pocket. The switch is very small and discreet so I don't think I'll be triggering it in my pocket like I did last week with my FogLog. The threading on the tube is very clean and well done and the tube surface has a very slight texture to it. It just feels good! Thanks MadVapes..you just solved my major travel mod problem and this will probably just become my 24/7 device...it's just that good!

Congrats! You're gonna love it even more the more you use it.

At first I was afraid it would be too small and awkward to use. But like you said, it just fits the hand perfectly. I never thought anything would get me away from my passthrough at the computer but this has. More comfy, stands upright, and no wires to tangle.

My other mods are will be in the classifieds once I get a back-up VapeStack. My only complaint is the driptip opening is too small. I'm using a delrin one which is fine on my black one, but I'd like to get a red one with a matching tip.

Anyone have any luck boring these out?

My batteries showed up yesterday, so I've been happily using the Mini VapeStack today. I'm using LiMN batteries, the AW IMR16430. After a day of usage (10 hours), it was still going strong, showing 3.7v on a multimeter, down from 4.2 fully charged. Amazingly putting out more power than a fully charged 510 batt after so much usage.

At last... no more constantly recharging the handful of mini/supermini ecig batts I've got lying around to eek out a little more performance :)

So far the 901 atty is my favorite atty for this device.

401 attys work better at lower voltage (best at around 3.4 if you ask me, really nice on a std 510 batt). But the 901 atty is much happier at these higher voltage levels, and a KR808 carto that really didn't produce much vapor on a std 510 batt works just fine with the extra power on the MOD. Haven't tried any 510 attys yet, but I've got a joye510 in the mail and two SLB510s on deck. I also want to try at least one penstyle atty (302 maybe), but I suspect those will be bigger than I prefer really.

I was a little worried the button placement would be awkward but it works well enough for me. I mostly hit it with my thumb while holding the mini in a loose fist with the bottom resting on my pinki finger. I haven't been using the drip tip since I fill carts instead. Also i just don't like the idea of a metal tip honestly (think cracked teeth when getting unexpectedly bumped).

Its got a real nice solid feel to it and I like the asymmetrical look.

I picked up a carrying case for it that works well with it from REI.
Keychains - Keychain Pouch | Marsupial Wallet Key Chain | Chums

I've replace the keyring with the smallest size S-Biner so the case can hook to a belt loop.

The MOD slips into the outer pouch compartment (90mm tall) and the zippered compartment (105mm) is large enough to hold some combination of spare carts, small bottles, spare battery. The whole package easily fits into a pocket but I had it clipped to a belt loop today.
[edit: This arrangment is better than a separate mini altoid case clanking around in my pocket against the vapestack.]

I'm a happy camper:) The Mini VapeStack is a definite keeper. I'm going to get a second battery MOD that takes 16340s too, and depending on which proves to be most convenient/comfortable to me, one will serve as a backup to the other.

That is exactly how I hold mine VaporMadness. Use my thumb to push the button and my pinky on the bottom. I love using this while I am driving. Dont get any weird looks like I get when I use my other mods. Mark got an excellent mod to sell and I think it will be hard to keep these in stock.

I hadn't thought about that. It is very well concealed when held this way! It's stealthier than a regular ecig batt really since all but the tip is exposed.

Let me know how that Chameleon turns out. I was going to get that one but the VapeStack got in stock first, and is much cooler in colors....(I'm sure TEAL would be even more awesome). ;)

VaporMadness: Good idea on the case. I don't have anything small enough to carry the VapeStack ;)

Just got my LiMN AW IMR16430s in today. They definitely rock. They're high drain, which means on a regular atty you might not see a difference, but with an LR atty they vape much better than the gray Trustfires. Obviously much better quality too. They say 550 mah, but they're lasting longer that the 880 mah Trustfires as well.

And yeah, they're easy to conceal for a stealth vape, except for the big clouds of vapor.

The only batt (not counting stock ecig batts) I've used is the IMR16340. It lasts all day for me. No need to switch batts in the evening even. The voltage level drops down to around 3.5 after a full day and night of usage (at my rate of usage). After a full day of usage, still outperforms a stock batt. This is a really good capacity for me. I'm not looking for a bigger battery MOD.

This thread has some interesting info about batteries.
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ikenvape/84144-batteries-safety.html
the only things available that can truely handle the abuse we put em through are in the 18650 size
2 different 3V LiFePo4 in the CR123a size
and the LiMN high drain in the CR123a size

That's not to say that there arent other protected batteries that wont work....just that we're overstressing them and they aren't going to hold up to nearly as many charges as the manufacturers say they can...so we should pitch and replace them more frequently, expecially if they start acting "funny"..

I've had a question about the batteries and since it does somewhat apply here I'll ask in this thread vs. making a new one. The CR123 is a 3.7V LiOn battery? And the CR123a is a ?? 3V battery? But they are the same physical size? So how do they get different voltage? A different battery chemistry?

And related. There is an extension to do 6V vaping with a pair of CR123a vs. the single CR123 for 3.7V vaping. Can one get the extension and then use the 18650? (not sure of model). Its the 3.7V LiOn protected battery the size of a pair of CR123a's but with like 2000mah vs the 800mah of a CR123. So like days on end vaping?

Really the same battery but one has the output regulted down to 3 volts..

Two fully charged 3.7 volters would produce 8.4 volts and kill most any atty pretty quckly..

The 2000mah cr123's are typically not rechargeable and altough the mah is high, not all can supply it in 1.7 amp bursts.. It;s the same reason you don't see too many mods using regular rechargeable AA batts.. the mah is there but most can only delivery 200ma at a time..

The VapeStack is not wide enough internally for an 18650..
