I don't come to the US often , but every time it's a nightmare. It takes hours and I always get pulled inside for questioning. Now maybe it's because I'm Canadian but when I come home my stop at the border takes under 1min.

I don't think you'll have a issue at all, nothing you're bringing with you is illegal in any way.

As an American, that was my experience as well crossing from Detroit into Windsor. No delay going to Canada, nearly two hours for them to search my rental coming back. Festung Amerika indeed.

Question/inquiry...are there any plans to make the Paps X in reversed finishes, the top and button brushed and the body polished?

I love the finish mixed, but would love to have a reversed version!

Can't wait to see what the v3 will be...it too will become part of my collection soon!

We have no plans to make them with reversed finish, although this can be done by an experienced person with a dremel and different grit papers. We've experimented with different polishing methods and we concluded to current style.
Thank you :)

If you're very adamant about it, there's a place that does this sort of thing. I believe they're called vape n' shine. They do really great work from what I've read.

I have followed them from their beginning! And that is certainly an option, and will use them once my mods become scratched enough to need a pro polish. But I also have this OCD that I prefer to keep mods just as the modders intended. For me it is an appreciation for what they do, and I see them kinda like their artwork.

But that is an option!

Guys..I need your advice. Sometimes my paps lux will auto fire when screwing a atty on. Or is the atty contact sticking down too far? When I look at the bottom switch..the contact is almost flush to the delrin. Is there a way to move the botton contact screw lower? When using it...I have to leave a little gap on the battery.

Chances are that you recently took your switch apart for cleaning and put the nut on backwards. The cup in the nut should face down. Flip it and you should be good.

Just a heads up, he's crazy back logged currently. I'm having him clean up my Orion 2.1 now that it doesn't leave the house much anymore. It's got a quite a few character marks from when I used it daily and took it everywhere.

I contacted him two weeks ago and was told it might be March or April before he got to my project. From what I've seen his work is worth the wait.
