Perseas.. you can see that I have a lot of stuff... but I am desperate for a piccolo and spheroid. Sad was the day I traded away my lux and spheroid.. I have repented for my sins. Please forgive me.

All the best! Uh, u don't need it though b'coz I'm sanguine it'd work out gr8. I'm still on it... and it has surpassed anything I had earlier.

One more tip, keep the coil around 1.3-1.4 Ω - that gives out the best VTF on a 70:30 (or similar) PG:VG mix. I added one more round to my yesterday's 1.1 Ω coil making it to 1.3 Ω b'coz my Spheroid was getting warm (effects of chain vaping -- might not occur with urs) and lucky I did -- the vape experience got even better!

Thanks Qorax, I usually like a 1.3 to 1.7 ohm coil on my gennys although I sometimes get down to 1.0 to 1.2 ohms unintentionally. I think that I used too much of the fluff in the spheroid the last time. This time I'm going to measure it out before I stuff it in. I intend to make the wick from Nextel as I do like the Nextel in my other setups. I just need to decide whether to use 1/16 or 1/32 Nextel..

I plan on it process seems very simple and can be polished/lightly sanded off, none the less i'll be the guinea pig

I've no experience with Nextel, but I can tell u that I cut my Sera Wool into a 2cm x 4.5cm slice.

i didnt have much luck with nextel in the spheroid, however i was shooting for ~1ohm if you get it figured out let us know

I use very little sera and only do one wrap around the tube so that it still is fluffy. Remember that less is much better for allowing the juice to fill the wick.
I fill my spheroid with needles(sharp or blunt if I have too). If you can't get one into the side of the tube filled with wool than it is too much wool. Do not pack it, especially your first time. As you d more refills in the future, you can add a bit more each time so that you find your perfect size.
The more wool does not mean a longer lasting tank. If you are dripping the juice in your spheroid, unscrew the top portion of your Spheroid and look at your fluff, this will tell you how much of your fluff is getting juice which is a good indication of whether you need more or less fluff.

Is this "Sera" the same thing that Perseas sells (GP Fluff)? I just bought some extra from Perseas but don't think I got the v2. I don't know the difference..

I'm pretty sure that I put the whole thing in the spheroid the last time which is most likely the problem..

This is about the size I use. Please take note on the thickness if possible. It is a thin piece. I still will trim a bit after wrap. If the wool extends the tube after assembly, I tamp it in carefully with a small screwdriver, add juice and vape.
I boil all my wool before use to remove impurities, funny I find the wool wicks a bit better after I rinse it when changing flavors. After rinsing I dry it with a hair dryer if im in a hurry to use again.
