The spheroid V2 is awsome i have a couple i don't use a rench of any sort in top cap.I use the rubber grippers you use to open jar lids works great!
I recommend a t20 torx screw driver not an torque wrench as I wrote by mistake.
I got the new piccolo but it won't fire my spheroid. Is there any way to adjust the pin on the spheroid?

You have to adjust the pin of the Piccolo, with exactly the same manner as for Piccolo v1 and v2.
Unscrew the top cap, screw the Spheroid on the 510 connection and then regulate the thumb screw to make contact with the Spheroid's positive pin.
Of course, you can make it sit flush on Piccolo.

It is a full mechanical mod, if it doesn't fire, there is not contact or the atty has a short, there is no other way.

I have version 2 spheroid and the Piccolo version 3 and it is not making contact. I checked with a meter
I think this is the last Spheroid for 2012, yes and a few Piccolo have remained.
If you screw the positive contact all way up, you'll have a gap when you put the Spheroid on it, right?
That means you have a visible contact to the positive pole. Then you have to regulate the negative contact, the brass screw in the switch. And of course, don't forget to unlock the switch by turning the button clockwise, before you fire.

When I screw the brass contact all the way up I can still get a flush fit with the spheroid. The spheroid also fires on my Provari and other battery tube mods.
Did you regulate the negative contact in the switch of the Piccolo?

Yes but I don't see how that affects the 510 connection. Maybe the adjustable brass screw on the top cap is too short on mine? We can take this to PM is you prefer, I hate to derail the thread.
Thank you for your kindness. I believe we can solve it quickly, and we'll find a solution that could help also somebody in the future, if it depends on the user and it isn't a manufacturing fault. Please measure the brass screw, it has to be between 7,04 mm-7,14 mm, a bit more or less.
