I got the new piccolo but it won't fire my spheroid. Is there any way to adjust the pin on the spheroid?

You have to adjust the pin of the Piccolo, with exactly the same manner as for Piccolo v1 and v2.
Unscrew the top cap, screw the Spheroid on the 510 connection and then regulate the thumb screw to make contact with the Spheroid's positive pin.

Just received mine, missed delivery friday...thank you Perseas looks great.
Is it safe to force the connectorpin in topcap to unscrew it a bit, i got a massive gap between piccolo and spheroid?

Of course, you can make it sit flush on Piccolo.

I did that already. It's all the way tight and still won't fire :(

Does it make contact Spheroid's pin with Piccolo's brass screw (positive contact)?
Have you regulated the Piccolo's switch brass screw (negative contact)?
It is a full mechanical mod, if it doesn't fire, there is not contact or the atty has a short, there is no other way.

carl

I think this is the last Spheroid for 2012, yes and a few Piccolo have remained.

I have version 2 spheroid and the Piccolo version 3 and it is not making contact. I checked with a meter

If you screw the positive contact all way up, you'll have a gap when you put the Spheroid on it, right?
That means you have a visible contact to the positive pole. Then you have to regulate the negative contact, the brass screw in the switch. And of course, don't forget to unlock the switch by turning the button clockwise, before you fire.

Thank you for your kindness. I believe we can solve it quickly, and we'll find a solution that could help also somebody in the future, if it depends on the user and it isn't a manufacturing fault. Please measure the brass screw, it has to be between 7,04 mm-7,14 mm, a bit more or less.
