Watched Todds review on the diver and a bit concerned about the resistance being either to high or having to use non resistance wire which I know nothing about.
I will check some other reviews and wait for your opinions guys as would really like the SnP.
Smart thinking UKPaul...
Haven't seen that but Todd is very honest so each can judge for themself if it fits....

I bought one (Diver) a while ago because I've played around a little with GG atomizers (the Penelope is still one of my faves but i have premade coil wires for it) once i took it out to set up, looked at it, and I put it all back in the little pouch and sold it unused (with no problem)....Why?
1. I'm 63yrs old, a little eye-worn (need reading glasses; the strongest ones), and compulsive about vaping, with little patience.
2. I can wrap Geni' and Dripper coils with the best of them, This is a tiny ceramic and the wire is very fine. The specs of a carto is just too small for me.
I did try... watching that nice lady's video of the set up, but couldn't handle.
I'm sure MOST vapers with some RBA experience will enjoy this.. but alas, not myself; at least until i grow up and get some more patience.

Something terrible has happened!

This morning I was walking out of my apartment heading to work. I was messing with my top cap and a new tank I got in the mail trying to figure out how to reduce the gap and still be able to remove the tank without it getting stuck to the top cap. Well as I was walking my top cap fell and botched down a flight of concrete stairs!

I picked it up and tried to screw it back onto my 350 tube and it was no good :(

I get about a third of the way in and it stops, but it screws onto my 650 tube just fine..

I'm so sad! :(

Maybe try a thread repair tool? (comes in both external and internal)

.... a quick trick on this... if you figure out the twist method for NR/R/NR wires, what I've done was take apart my favorite a good coil and measure the length... then I know what length of resistance coil I need to pop between the NR bits. Push comes to shove, you can buy pre maid NR/R/NR wires at some places at a set resistance OR, just use a standard carto in the SnP.

IMHO, using non res wire is the only way to have control over your ohms and i dont like having the res wire against the device getting hot. If you check out PBusardo's website, tasteyourjuice.com, he has a resistance calculator that will let you know how long, in mm, your resistance wire needs to be for a given ohm's. You can also use a multi meter to check it out. Attach one of the non res legs to the resistance wire then with the alligator clips slide the multi meter down the res wire till you reach the ohms you want. Fold over the res wire where your alligator clip is attached and that is where you will join the non res wire. Roughly speaking though I have found that 30mm of 32guage will give you just shy of 1.8 ohms and 30 mm of 30 guage will give you roughly 1.3 ohms and 30 mm of 28guage will give you 0.9 ohms. But that is just what I have found. Almost forgot, when you are using your multi meter, after you set your dial to ohms, touch the leads to find what resistance your meter has and subtract that from the ohm reading you get when you are testing your wire. Sorta frustrating at first, but with practice you can whip them together pretty quick.

Probably obvious, but forgot to mention that you first attach one of the alligator clips to the non res leg then you slide the other down the res wire till you find the ohms you are looking for.

My Divers are still on their way from Greece, but I'm ob/com about the tech so I tend to watch a lot of videos... which may be bad, because when something new comes out, I go.. where can I get that?! I'm really loving bottom coil RBA ala Kayfun and (the clones that shall not be named, until I can get my hands on the real thing)... after trying everything... that simple wick fed silica burner offers a great taste with zero hassle setup... so I'll have my carto tank experience with them ala SnP, my dripping experience with them ala Grail, and I'll pop the kaylites on the Paps and just sit back the rest of the summer and smile and vape.

I love my Diver's and my Killers, but once you "pop" that Kayfun lite on that Paps, you may not be able to let go for the rest of the summer...you're talking vaping bliss there !

Hey folks, I'm looking at the SS Edition version 2.5 spare tubes (18500/18650) and I'm wondering; are they fully compatible with the GP LUX 2.5, meaning do they screw on without leaving any space? Also, are they shiny or do they have that matte/scratched look? Thanks!

Fully compatible. the only issue with compatibility will come when you try an put an old switch on a new tube (i.e. V1 switch on a Lux tube) and even then it might work, but it might not. But all the tubes currently sold at Vapourart.com will be fully compatible with the new top caps and switches.

I was pretty sure that the total I paid didn't include shipping but nevertheless, I got a dhl tracking number today.

Looking around further in my inbox, I saw an email entitled "Order #XXXX Update" that asks me to pay 15 euros for shipping and send them that payment info. Payment sent!

Same here.

I just wish all these other vendors can ship packages as fast as vapourart, they couldn't even wait til monday!
VA will ship the first couple days of next week but you are right about the shipping effeciency. I order very little from the US if anything at all but, if I do it is much slower.

Any body have an idea to when the spheroid is going up for sale? I thought it was with this last sale, but guess not, had to settle for a lux :p

The Spheroid is coming in the next sale from VaporArt along with Piccolo versions and other AWESOME stuff. It will be withing 10 - 14 days if all goes as planned.
King Perseas will keep us updated on the update thread and his website....he usually will post it here also.

You will not be dissapointed with the Spheroid. honestly I find it the most flavorful atty I own as well as beautiful vapor production. GL

Thanks Idaho, I imagine it should be cracking nice, should've gotten one long time ago, but kept getting other stuff, it's all good though, everything has it's time. The ease of build & leak proof - ness of it really appeals to me at this time. Of course I need to get a feel for it, for when perseas decides to release the 22mm version can jump on that one right quick :p
