Not sure if you asked or if anyone else noted it in a previous thread, but one other solution may be this: there are two secondary screws for the top cap included in the Lux/SS package - use the thinner one for the Kayfuns. I have the Lite and it sits completely flush.

+1 ^^^ I have a KL and it sits flush on my Lux with the thinner telescoping screw.

That's the missing link.. I only have the thicker screw. Thanks for your help.

I am happy to drop a smaller one in the mail for you. On me of course. I also would like it set up right! I knew the battery was torqued down causing havic on the switch!

PM your address and I will get one out to Ohioioioioio Monday morning :)

On Monday or Tuesday, a shipment will be sent to our American reseller.
I'm in USA, who is the American reseller, do they have pre-order?
Registered last week on Vaoourart and did not receive registration email. I would like to be set up when new items show up.

Pls check VA's home page... there are 2... one for EU and another for the Americas.

I had been without 18650 batteries for many months now, but just got some in the mail to use with in my SS PAPS. I have to say WOW to the switch! I was skeptical of the "touch switch" comments I've read, but damn the tolerance!! So easy to fire this bad boy. I love it! :)

*gets off of soapbox*

I still have yet to use my Lux.... I don't know why. Maybe its just too beautiful for me to use with my current atties. I do have a Stratus 22 on the way which will be the likely candidate for my Lux. Right now, I put my DID D20 on the SS PAPS, even with the step that I usually try to avoid in my PV's, it looks great still! Vapes like mfkn champ! :)

BLAKE!

I second this American reseller. I know nothing of sweater vests, nor dressing up toy poodles, but would not be opposed to viewing any evidence confirming the claim.

Seriously though,

Domo provided me with excellent service that I expected in purchasing excellent product!

So, because I'm confident I will receive good feedback..

I'm familiar with a multi-meter as I use one on a daily basis troubleshooting HVAC equipment. However, when I used it to test my first micro coil, it returned a reading of 2.6, which I knew was wrong. I checked the build on my Provari, and it returned a reading of 1.5.

My daily use of my meter rarely has me checking ohms, so given my statement above, what am I doing wrong?

anybody used ghost modder tubes? i got some ordered so i can experiment with patina. figure they are cheaper and i can strip it down to try different looks. anybody patina their LUX?

If you are looking for honest opinions, look no further.

No offense brudda but imo, they are nothing but a copy of the GP PAPS tube line. I can't stand them. They are cheap copies and a pile of shti. I dislike copies and clones with a feverish angst.

Other than that...its all in ones needs and wants. I have seen many sell with GP mods as an extra tube. Just not for me. :)

Definitely just my opinion(which can be brash at times) with no offense towards any of the owners or your post.

no offense taken, just want to have some stuff to practice on. im sure it wont be the quality of gp but i just want to see how different patinas hold up with daily use. would be cool if gp offered irregulars that didnt meet QC i could play with. i have been playing with aluminum sheets and still suck at engraving lol.

ps i didnt even think about this being a thread for gp specifically so my posts can be deleted

If you have used any email address ending to @att.net, please change it with a different one, these are blocked by our web programmer for spamming reasons.

Feel free to discuss what you like here :)

The alu bronze tubes develop a different patina from the brass tubes, and they need more time to do that, it is an interesting process.

Where do you measure your coils with the multimeter? I usually stick each point into the philips notches of the screws after I've mounted the coil on the posts and get a reading that consistent with the provari.
