My GVC finally hit town after 7 days; not bad I'm thinking. Should be pre-steeped, so I'll sample when I get home today :D

Let us know how you like it, I have been looking to get some too! The reviews seem great

Just picked up the SnP, looks awesome! For some reason I have got 3 tanks? not complaining though. Also got my GP polish n brushed tools too they look great, so polished tube will be brushed tonight :2cool:

Also re top cap adjusters, I have found that I can get any battery in there with one or the other of the standard screws.
I have had to grind a bit off a spare one to use with the kick 2 as mines a bit long, 2 mins with the dremel and problem solved.
BTW kick 2 is absolutely awesome, I now get best part of 2x battery life and totally consistent vape all day long. So can thoroughly recommend, only downside is its a fiddly little bugger to get into the tubes.

Re button issue someone was having, make sure the lock nut is the correct way up, the screw should come a little way past the nut, if not it's the wrong way round-took me ages to figure that out:confused:

Happy vaping

Nice! 24mg huh? Hold on to your seat!
Even after Grants 2 week minimum sometimes it helps to leave the cap off for the first days while vaping it. Enjoy Digi!

Good advice Bro. I will steep for a few. I felt like I was chain vaping on 18mG, mind you, I'm only 3 months off the stinkies.

EYEDEE: I posted an inquiry about the GP fluff "list" you were passing around, and was wondering where we ended up on that?

Not that I'm hurting for filler, thanks to you ;)

Was just curious.

I believe the SnP's are now coming with three tanks. One installed and two extras :)

OP, if you sift through the posts that followed your original, you should find the solution. Seems as if you need to switch out the adjustable (fatter) screw for the slimmer one in the spares bag.

Should resolve any/all gaps. If the problem persists, post some pics of your setup so we can view and assist :D

Thanks guys...I hadn't realized there was a difference. Will check that out tonight. Ya'll are so smart:)

Cheers!

Likes as though they factored in idiots like me cos the first thing i did when i got home was remove the caps and BOOM theres my tank in many pieces!

IMAG0082.jpg

Thankfully this tank was quite rough and was unlikely to see the light of day!

I have to say I am a little disappointed with the finish on the tanks, i know that some imperfections are to be expected but both my spares have small scuff marks on them (they were very well packed so i dont think its transit damage). They also are all a bit rough around the edges, most of it is really well finished and polished but then odd bits of chipping. I wouldn't mind so much if i was using the 23mm as this would be hidden but on the 22mm i have its on show and the tank which broke would of driven me nuts. Is this normal for these tanks I have never looked that closely at any others. I have come to expect such an amazing finish from GP maybe I am being unfair.
I will try and get some photos which is proving really difficult and have tried with little success so far!

The rest of the unit is fantastic and is the top class finish i know and love!

Sounds like you have had a bit of bad luck..

My 22mm SnP is rock sold and I am pretty heavy handed when removing the caps. Never had a tube break.. YET.. Now I have probably just jinxed myself.. LOL

I recently got a 23mm SnP and so far so good.. No busted tubes.

Maybe contact Mr. P and I am sure he will take very good care of you!

I can totally recommend the paps SS, be warned it's like an addiction. I started with 2.5 SS setup. now it's also got-flat top cap, 18500 blasted,18500 lux, 18500 SS, 18650 polished tubes, just a switch then I got two! But still want lux button kit, 18650 blasted tube and then probably another kick 2. I thought this was supposed to be cheaper than analogues:blink:
I have a 22mm SnP (thankyou vapist.net) waiting in my post office for the night  so will post some photos with it on as soon as it is built. I just couldn't resist it, hopefully with the killer in it will be a kayfun contender!

I have picked up a killer clone from https://www.vapor-freak.de/Neu-im-Sortiment/Killer only €15, thanks to Perseas for killing my budget for a real one!
Anyone tried one of these? I intend to pick up a proper killer if I like this one.

9ball-totally agree satin is the way forward! I think it's best finish of all IMHO and the others from Perseas are outstanding!

I am a true fan of the killer 705 and IMHO it out performs my K-lite. A friend of mine got his hands on the clone you mentioned and asked me to help him set it up. I tried hard, but could not make that clone work I do hope it works for you, but please don't be to quick to judge the killer by this clone. GL

I have a Killer705 that I've yet to build. Just received my NR wire for it, but I have some time since the X release was pushed back. The Killer will be planted in one of the 23mm SnPs, and the 23 on the X.

I have to calm down for a few lol. I scored another KF3.1, polished w/ mega tank & spares, for the Lux. Now every mod has a topper.

Anyways, once I nail down the NR/R/NR, I will be sure to post back with my results.

Kayfun killer? Eh, i dont know. It's hard for me to imagine a silica base beating a micro/cotton setup.

I use a micro/cotton setup in my killers. I just change the cotton every couple of weeks, wicking, flavor and vapor production are amazing...

Here I concur.

Probably the GP-SnP is the BEST produced Carto-Tank ever! Rock solid in built.. to a limit it amazes anyone who handles it. Don't take my word for it -- check out the reviews of Scott (igetcha69) & PBusardo.

The glass is heavy weight quartz, with thick walls and triple reinforced hot blown. The edges are laser polished - smooth as banana... and shatter-proof under "normal" drops over hard surface... Yes, ppl have dropped them and confirmed (see those vids).

No other 'tank' comes closer to the built of SnP, not the IBTankeds not the Phyniacs or VVVs or whatever!

I thus believe fasteddie might just was out of luck there.

I concur again. The Killer is pretty good, well built, nicely finished, good material used, looks classy and importantly doesn't leak like the Diver! Besides giving me a good vape experience in drip-mode. Which, confirms that it's built to performs.

However, here are my woes with it in 'tank' mode:
Billie, is there a longer positive pin available for the Killer?
I have a problem getting it to fire. when I open the juice holes to have a proper wicking - the pos pin becomes free floating - and that disconnects it from the 510 post of my mod. If I maintain it's optimum length - that calls for nearly closing the juice holes - bam, no wicking! Kinda bummer there. Pls HELP.

Billie, I have to divide the Killer into 2 parts to assemble it in the Tank. (1)The bottom 510 cup and (2)the main body with the juice holes.
a) I remove the bottom cap of the tank from the glass tube,
b) Then fix the bottom 510 cup of the Killer into that bottom cap (of the tank),
c) Now, fix the main body of the Killer into the top cap of the tank,
d) Then press the bottom cap of the tank into the glass tube,
e) Simultaneously rotating the 510 cup of the Killer into the Main Body...
f) Leave it when the juice-holes are just fully visible (I like it full open, else it doesn't wick),
g) And now the 510 pin of the Killer is way up - thus no contact with the device

BOTTOMLINE: My Killer doesn't work. Pls check the above and tell me what I'm doing wrong :(

Thanks Billie!
I've tried the Killer inside a SnP and a Scuba Tank. The mods were all in my signature... basically all mechanicals like Paps, Sirius, Atomo etc.

With that juice control opened the Killer's +ve pin moved so up that even if I tighten the Mod's Telescopic Post fully it doesn't make contact with the Killer's +ve pin.

And yes, I've always primed the killer and also taken unfired pulls to fully saturate it before hitting the button. But alas, no joy :(

If only you could make a longer Positive Pin for the Killer (1.5mm longer) things would be better!
______________________________________________________
Ps.: I have tried attaching pins to the Killer's POS and it shorted the hell out of the device:)

Cheers for the advice, I have ordered a set of premade coils for the killer as set-up looks like a real pain in the ..., hopefully they will solve some of the issues. I hope the pre-made coils will only be a backup once I have figured the build out.

The tank literally fell apart in my hands whilst pulling the cap off, I imagine this was a faulty one. I shall email Perseas.

I think there's something wrong with the 510 adapter on the RH killer clone as the positive post does not move. Maybe I don't know what I'm doing, but I could only get it to fire when the juice control was completely closed. I happen to have an extra Killer 510 adapter from Greek Vapes (don't ask why) and the Killer clone works just fine for me when I use it. Not a big deal - I like my Divers better.

Send me an email please and tomorrow morning we shall fix it. Although these fused quartz tubes are made under our specifications and we ask for their MSDS, we have no way to check theIr stability in case of a faulty piece. If you found any tube chopped at its edge, then it has slipped from our QC and we shall replace it.
