Just posted this at the Provari thread...
Carto tanks - My favorites are Loki Lab SS1 for awesome airflow, Cirrus pyrex tank, GP Salt n Pepper for easy filling (the glass is thin and can break easily though).
The GP-SnP Glass Tube is 3mm "fused Quartz"... one of the thickest glass tanks out there. Glass being glass will break if impacted the right way ~ however, under many circumstances they didn't break with me.

It is also the only glass tank I know which has a 'logo' that has been diffused in it during the manufacturing process... not etched or engraved (if that's possible that is). It thus looks awesome. And as other's have chimed in ~ the filling process on the GP-SnP is the feather in it's cap!

The SnP has a 23mm variant, also with an optional Pro-Ring. Together, they are one of the top 'tank' models you could get for our Provaries.

What's the boil procedure for the GP fluff? :)
Because of Yankee I am now 20 min on everything except eggs :)
I used to be 7-10 min

Oh great. I just bought some. Are there any stateside alternatives on par with GP's? I got the Sera name off of the vapourart site, thought it was the same stuff.

Tis mucho different although some do like it. Our friend xtreme can help on this. I prefer GP fluffage.

So this Heron will be my first Spheroid type atty. The fluff needs to be boiled? I think I know how to do the set up thanks to the setups posted in tips and tricks.
Not necessarily, it is a good practice for pure flavor. Much like any wicking or wick itself there are a few of us purists amongst us. We tend to boil anything that may carry smells and our unwanted byproducts.
I can see you don't boil your wick medium, you should. Just throw it all in the pot for 20 and pat and air dry. Some use a microwave to dry. Some don't :)

This would be our first spheroid type as well. I have another atty here with sera but I will def be picking up some original fluff info can manage to score a couple Herons for my wife and myself. :)

Try eggs at 20 minutes my friend. Once you boil eggs for 20 minutes, just peel off a little and thread it into your coils. You may be amazed at it's wicking abilities. (I have not had success with this yet)

If the flavor lacks, just add an oring or two to keep the egg from dislodging.

Why have I not heard or seen of this? Do you like it ?

Posted my IIR (I'm IN Report) on the Welcome Thread there As of now ~ I'm liking it! Haven't posted any pics anywhere b'coz my GR-Modders' and Loki Lab's pro-rings haven't arrived yet... and I don't fancy the taper-top of the Provari.

Ok cool. I do use organic cotton and got one funky one so I've boiled a bunch and have used it with no probs. thanks Yankee and ID for the answers. And you can just rinse it off and reuse it for flavor changes as well which is even better.

Uhhhh. Don't try to cover up something that had absinthe by rinsing.

After I posted that I had a feeling that you hadn't put up any pics due to the lack of a beauty ring. I think the spheroid goes pretty well on the Provari.

In the democratic process(unlike our governments) forged by our family of GP on the interwebz communal space waves, we have concluded that GP fluff is far superior than metals, cotton balls, barbed wire fencing, pine cones, denim, animal fur, compost and cereal.
Fluff has spoken! As have a sheet or two, I would be happy to send some upon your purchase of said AWESOME Heron to sample.

I will take your word and try it. Although, My above list may get bigger.

Oh the oring response was indeed needed! I am still recovering from that laugh. Omg too funny man.
