The SnC yarn came to life for me, but only after a minimum 20 minute boil. Pat dry, 30 sec in the microwave if need be, and BAM!

Anything less than 20, and the taste is just weird. I'm currently running it in my Ithaka, and the vape is dreamy! juice control @ null ;)

I'm glad too, because I have some that was gifted to me(xtreme) AND I have an entire spool that I picked up afterwards.

I've a crap load of silica too, but I'd rather use that to rappel down the side of my neighbors house.

Yes, for best results, it is imperative that you boil the walmart off of it.

I didn't know there was a boil procedure. hehe. I rinsed it in warm water, and paper towel dried when I first got it. I pretty much just do that when changing flavours.

I don't boil my Sera, Juwel and GP-Fluff as well. I don't change the juices from my Spheroids... but if I had to I'd just toss the used piece of fluff and pop-in a fresh one.

hahahahahahahaha!!!!! Love that comment. I appreciate the offer but I had purchased a SPOOL for hubs a long while back (no dent made in it for sure) ... I just didn't have ANY good results in it when I tried using it in the Ithaka. So I haven't gone back to it at all...found the organic cotton balls and fell head over heels in love....didn't really want to give that up...

you know I read Idaho's post about it and my thick head didn't get a visual for the Velcro thing but I got a good visual now...DUH!!! LOL...

I use SnC in Spheroids and Ithakas, cotton ball in all others as of this week. Was the SnC not wicking, or was the taste off? It works flawlessly in my two Ithakas and my 3 Spheroids.

Beyond any improvements in flavor, both SnC and cotton balls seem to make attys function more smoothly. They seem to me to be more forgiving with these wicks.

So I have been totally inspired to finish a couple of little projects I had on the go, thanks OB!

Remember I only got a set of hand tools, I can live with the imperfections because I made them!

Time to kick back and relax!

Finally finished and polished my atty stand, this was inspired by the stand which comes with the Rose by Eden. I had an old bit of alloy lying around from a previous job so drilled a 7mm hole in one end and 11mm in the other. Now I can sit 510's down without problem and the large end takes a drip tip so when filling the likes of the KFL+ i can stand the tank/atty upside down. Simple but so useful. Its a nice size for me as it lifts attys off the table for working on and its heavy enough to stay stable even with KF3.1.
I was also thinking of making a Microcoil jig, seeing OB get on and do it pushed me along! Simple little piece of OAK, I have fixed a bolt through with a wing nut on top to grip the wire(I have left enough thread for a washer but it doesn't seem to need one) and have drilled a 3mm hole quite deep to carry most diameters but I have found a 1.6mm rivet sits in there perfectly and is the diameter I like. Before anyone mentions it-yes the rivet is on the piss, this seems to help keep the coil round the bottom and tighter against that nice little collar that the rivet has, this means if I put a smaller diameter bit in it sits straight! Finished it with a little thumb grip to make it easier and a coat of wax to stop the grubby hands!

The rivet is a great idea...love the idea behind your alloy atty stand as well.

Posted this at a Provari thread...

Super nice set ups qorax!!!! I'd say your fav is anything GP related HUH? SnP tank is my next purchase after the Sophia set up. Can't wait.
Yes Angie, anything GP and I'm there! Though I do have other devices as well, but every GP is fetched on it's launch day. Yep, a GP fanboy - I AM! And there's reason to it:

1. Top notch quality (materials, built, machining, polishing, detailing and finish)
2. Innovation by design (always evolving - geared for functionality and compatibility)
3. Sized right (utmost use of real estate - as small as it could be but rugged to the bone)
4. Value for money (realistic pricing - though high end built) AND
5. Superior Customer Care (Note: I didn't call it Customer "Service", b'coz Team-GP goes beyond!).

You haven't vaped it all unless you have something GP in you!
