Anyone tried using an MNKE battery with the GPin yet?

MNKE is my battery of choice, and before I upgrade I want to make sure it works with them lol

If it doesn't, I suppose I could switch to a different brand... I just prefer my MNKE's lol

I have one MNKE battery at home. If nobody else tests this pm me to remind me to test for you.

I hope so too.

Otherwise Monday is a holiday and I don't think I can stand to wait until Tuesday. :(

Yup , canada customs had my package for the entire day yesterday.…

Bummer guys... Mine actually updated at 7 this morning that it was in Boston and with the courier, maybe that means my luck has changed!!

Awesome Miller! You should be getting it quite soon so let us know your first impressions. It really is a whole different ball game.

When mine updated that it was with a courier it was delivered about an hour and 45 minutes later.

Mine says with delivery courier now also! Hopefully I'll get it today too. Romulus MI is quite a haul to where I live though.

I think it was mentioned here already, but I did find SnC at Joann Fabrics yesterday for $2.49 for 200 yards. Pulled up a 15% off coupon on my phone as well.

Took me 2 minutes to locate it, and an hour and half carrying it around before my girlfriend was done. At least I made quick friends with a gentleman who was also waiting for his wife. :p

Tonight Karma smiled on me.
Short version, before one of my daily breaks I walk my beloved big ... face licking dogs around dusk. I like darkness when walking. D wasn't home to enforce the "no GP while exercising" rule. Tonight I was a free man and stuck my MS and a newly setup Spheroid in my pocket. At the halfway point or pushup point I realized it was gone. Looked and looked with flashlight app all the way home. Grabbed a real flashlight and more clothes(for the tundra) and on my second run....Boom found em in a bit of snow. GP drip tip missing.
For just a second I was relieved followed by a strict policy of no man left behind....Boom found it also.
Karma taught me a lesson today and was smiling!

I know some of you are thinking, At least you didn't bring it in the bathroom and Chad is thinking, I wish he brought it in the bathroom :). < That's my rule though.

You are lucky that you found it - that's why I have pockets with zippers :)

I got my Paps X, X ring, v3 Spheroid Kit and my fluff in yesterday so I am now a happy camper :D.

The quality of the Paps X is very nice and was exactly what I was looking for and expecting. I wanted a sectional tube mod for a while, but every time I even looked at the neme mod I was turned off by the switch design and the huge engravings. I am fond of mods that do not have too much "busy" work going on. The Paps X on the other hand has the simple GP logo which I really like. I ended up with #0629.

I am also loving the v3 kit for the Spheroid, don't get me wrong the thumb nut setup was good but I find the build much easier now with the screws. Sometimes I felt like I had sausage fingers when dealing with the thumb screws, but my hands are not like gorilla hands or anything.

Looks like GP is winning the MOD wars in my house. Simple, Classy and Elegant that is the GP way.

On another note, I am starting to get really interested in the S&P + Sofia combo I may end up getting one, but after the Heron and possibly the Paps v3.

The eagle has landed. So far this thing rocks!

Finish is absolutely gorgeous, threads are like a dream, button is perfect. And it's way smaller than I expected!

Now time to upgrade this spheroid to a v3... This should be interesting :)

Edit: oh and I did a test with my other tube mod... Same battery and same atty. hits about twice as hard.

Out of curiosity what was your other tube mod that you tested it against? Also what Paps did you get??
