So, I got my #14 Lux. I am having one problem with it, though. Maybe some of you other new Lux owners are having the same issue?

I cannot loosen the adjustable post without having the PEEK insulator screw out with it. The PEEK insulator threading is much looser than the post itself, so when I turn the post nut to the left, the PEEK insulator just unscrews.

Anyone else having this issue? Is there a way I can make it stiffer?

Edit: I'm going to try plumbers tape.

I hope I get a sub-100 serial. What was the total number shipped during the first batch?

Quick update guys...the throw on the switch is almost too short. I disassembled and reassembled the switch and found that if you tighten the retaining nut too much (all the way down), it will go into continuous firing mode. At least with the switch I got. Be mindful of this.

Flip the nut from the other side and try it, if it screws enough to leave the firing pin to protrude slightly, it is ok. If not, turn it again from the previous side and don't tighten it too much. If in the future, it loosens, I am a pm or email away.

Remove the screw and tighten the PEEK insulator into the top cap hole with the help of small pliers, put the nose of them inside and turn. This material can take enough abuse, it is reinforced with glass fibres, but in case you use too much force and you destroy it, I'll send you a new insulator, no worries.

In my experience, the PEEK insulator tightens over time. On your first assembly, screw on your atomizer, then the PEEK insulator, then the post, and then adjust the battery post connector. After a few days, the PEEK insulator should secure on.

Edit: Thank you perseas for your response on the switch.

The serial numbers have been given in a completely random order, it is something we do from the beginning, since the time we're making lists of GP PAPS v1 on VaporWall. But this time, we sent by mistake, way more than the numbers of the batch, so some people may receive serial up to 660.

Perseas. I'm sold. I didn't think much of the Paps, but wow. This thing. I love it. I love the subtle throw of the button. I love the machining. I love its minimalistic look.

I love it. I'm gonna get another Paps as soon as you guys are in stock.

I'm now waiting for the new batch of GP Piccolo. There's also a new switch design and the 1st batch of that version is coming media blasted.

Excellent! I love the way you do business and keep all of your models in rotation in smaller, regular batches. It sure beats waiting around for months for a product to become available, having to rely on pure luck or speed to place an order, or having to stalk the classifieds to get products at inflated prices. It would be nice if other mod makers would follow your example, but in the meantime, I'm happy buying GP devices.

This little black turd arrived today. The bottom button is completely seized onto the tube, as is the insulator in the cap. Going to give it a bath in the ultrasonic to hopefully loosen up the parts.

I wanted a sub 100 serial and got 249... :(

Looks like you work in the city too?

Remember, numbers don't affect quality of construction or performance. I find it interesting that some think it might be worth more. I know Armirite does not think this way, he likes low numbers. If it's a personal number it may be ok but, to think someone would pay more or sell for more due to a low number confuses me. And some will. Not me.
