When you guys get a minute can you please give me some tips on how to best maintain the contact points on the LUX

It's all Gold over Silver... avoid unnecessary scuffing... u don't want to lose ur 24K, do u? Besides, it doesn't deteriorate much and doesn't get oxidized sooner as well. So, relax. I'm with it over a month now and it still is all hay & shiny inside.

Just wipe them with a wet cloth, no need to rub them with any abrasive cleaner.

Welp, I got it working, 30g kanthal, 1.2 ohm. It seems to be working great so far:

It was kinda difficult to screw the paps positive pin up enough to make good contact with the diver pin. I dunno if I'll be able to unscrew it without pliers after this. Anyone else have this problem?

I'm not sure if you were ever answered about the tight connection. I have found these to become very good tools to own in my vaping world. Please invest, they are soft jaw pliers that replace towels and shirts when care is to be taken of our nice collections.

Really liking the diver. Kinda regretting trading my other one to amirite ;-)

It's more like a regular atomizer. You can get a nice warm vape at 1.5 ohm, plenty of vapor. I normally don't like rebuildable tanks much just because if something goes wrong you can do much about it without taking the whole thing apart, but this is pretty nice. My first coil wasn't that great, but I was able to pop the diver out by using another carto to press it out and take it's place, and I could put a new coil in there with ease. No emptying juice or taking a million pieces apart.

Experimental treatment for the LUX tubes. This sample is a lacquered aluminium bronze tube, it doesn't develop patina, it keeps a matte finish always and it is scratch resistant. Internally it is untreated, so its conductivity is unaffected.

Would people who already own a tube be able to buy the lacquer separate on your website, or would we have to send it to you to be able to have it done?

The lacquered tubes are still experimental, albeit the moment we approve them and get to the production, they will be available as spares in 18500 and 18650 sizes. Perhaps we make them available as 18350 mods, but for the ones that they have been sold already, it would be cost-prohibitive to be sent back and forth again.

The alu bronze tube is coated with an industrial structural lacquer and this is done inside a high temperature kiln.
