Don't get your panties in a bunch :D

We are all intelligent people here - no one really here with blinders on :)

God forbid if this topic broke out in some other thread on ECF, I mean look at what happened on UKV - the thread had to be closed due to personal attacks (not to say that all other threads on ECF have only people who are not intelligent).

I think that here (in the VapourArt threads) no one really makes any statements unless they stand by them :thumb:

Yep, lots of great people here. Even when we squabble, we keep it in-check because while we don't agree..we can respect that others have different views/opinions/lifestyles....something I wish was more widely practiced these days. Sadly, that's a rarity.

Yup, I've seen too many threads in ECF that start as: Provari Sucks!!! tell me why I should get one - Go!
Those threads contain lots of wonderful "advice" and "opinions".... :D

Cucco , have you one click ordered this yet ? http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0047...4594f2af#ref=mp_s_a_1_1&qid=1393865726&sr=8-1 lol

Make sure the one you buy has some paper filters and buy extra maybe. They are dirt cheap. If you don't have a burr grinder a regular grinder will work … ish. I buy my coffee at Starbucks and have them grind it to 4.5 on their machine and find it's perfect for the aeropress.

My next purchase for the house is a burr grinder , then I'll be getting my coffee for the house from these guys https://tonx.org

I was having Starbucks grind for me. I moved here, but I never unpacked. My Burr grinder is still packed. Almost everything I own, is still in my trailers. Ugh! One of these days, I will figure out, where I want to live when I grow up next time. Then, I will unpack! :)

When I moved, I hired truckers, with two flatbeds. Each flatbed carried a H1 Hummer attached to a trailer. One trailer contained my personal items. The other trailer contained my Harley, generators, 4-wheeler, tools, etc. I only ever unpacked a few personal items, and the Harley. The rest is still packed. One of these days! :)

I'm a pretty big coffee (not espresso) nerd too. When I have time, I pour-over brew using a Chemex pot or siphon brew using Bodum Pebo. If I'm in a hurry, I use a Bodum b.over, which tries to approximate the pour-over process...but doesn't really. Still, for an automatic machine it does a good job at keeping the water temperature and flow consistent. The Bodum products were things I covered for a magazine. If I had to buy my own automatic, I'd get a Bonavita. It's not a priority for me, as I like Chemex best and the b.over is good enough. I do need a grinder upgrade though....

Ray , have you tried the Areo Press ?

I have one, but rarely use it. It works well, especially with a metal filter. It's just too small for how I drink coffee. I almost always have two large cups (12-16 ounces) in the morning and that's it. I'm also skittish about hot water on plastic, but it's probably not a real issue.

I was thinking about getting one of those. Do you find it affects the taste at all ? Is it pretty easy to clean being so fine ?

It literally rinses right off, no mess at all. As far as taste I find it very similar to the paper filters, also it's fine enough that no gunk gets through. I got it at the same time as the aeropress so I've only really even used 5-6 paper filters just to see if there was much difference. I still have a massive stack of them that came with it lol

I kinda like the way it came lol thought it was original how you had it in a pvc pipe with the vapourart label slapped on just wish it came with a couple extra stickers so i could slap one on my computer tower;-). Plus beats paying an extra 10-15 euro for a wooden box thats just gonna sit in storage taking up space.

If you like our stickers, just leave a note in one future order to put inside your parcel.

I made a 1.1 Ohm coil (according to my provari) for my Spheroid awhile ago.

Fantastic B!

First coil! Cool! :)

No, I have not thrown any of my products out because I agree with you. I think you're missing MY point, friend. My post was aimed at the story of the little girl, and not buying from china because of it...the people that agreed with that post...and then the same people who started glorifying a company that uses the same practices.

I know how my products are made, and while I don't agree with it...i rely on them, but I don't go waving the white flag of peace and saying I'll boycott things when its convenient for me. While I may be one of the greedy people of the world that enjoy a privileged life due to someone else blood, I'm NOT a hypocrite.

As do I. I hope one day they can figure out a way to bring it all back to the states. We all know we could use more jobs here. My only reasoning for posting against apple was to make a point against saying one thing, then doing another when its convenient, then trying to justify it. When you make a strong statement of the likes of not putting another penny into china, you can't then say "well except....because...". That's what I had my panties in a bunch about lol

..Sent from the vape lair..

Permit me to have love - hate relations with Apple, after owing a lot of their products the last 8 years, having creating a website protesting against them in their own servers for months till they corrected their fault. I love their products, but I didn't hesitate to expose their wrongs. This doesn't make me or anyone else who loves Apple products with a conscious manner, a hypocrite.

Every statement has relative value for a certain category of syllogisms and it can't be used in another category without proving beforehand the logical connection between these premises without any missing clauses and their supposed conclusions, otherwise the resulted deductive reasoning is a logical fallacy due to the lack of validity of the initial premises. When I was in high school, we had a lesson called Logic and we were taught the mechanism of the language and the laws of the argument as Aristotle first defined. The last 30 years, our educational system removed this lesson as obsolete ...
