Just got home and My Paps v3 and Heron waiting for me. :D This thing is Beautiful! Once I get it all cleaned up I think I may get a build in there and try it out. I ordered a Lux tube separately that should be here tomorrow with how fast Domo's service has been.

One question before I get to building. Around the deck with the post there is a SS section with 2x o-rings to hold the tank section on. Does that part unscrew? It sure would make installing a new coil/wick easier.

You guessed right, it is threaded. Wow, I can't even answer, you post way too fast guys :D

Times like this I regret not e-filing or used turbo tax to file my taxes instead of giving it to my accountant. Praying to the vape gods I get my tax refund soon before restock. Ive already went over my vape budget this month and rather not credit it lol.

Are there any good videos on building the Heron? All the pictures/reviews ive seen used silica and ive always preferred cotton. Also is that wool fluff needed and if so, have to be replaced often?

No videos yet, but you'll find very analytical pictorials with cotton and silica builds here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...tifications-tips-tricks-updates-thread-9.html

60-70 mm fluff is OK and it will last a looong time.

Nice! Mine just reached the Cincinnati DHL hub and is clearing customs. If all goes well I should have mine tomorrow

I have my fingers crossed. Hopefully our orders will get to the Franklin Park, IL hub soon and part ways on their way out for delivery tomorrow morning. I also hope my order doesn't decide to hang out in Cincinnati for a week like my Paps X did last December.

Just so excited to get it all disassembled and in to the UC for a bath so I can have play time. :)

You probably don't have to do that with GP gear (because they clean it up prior to shipping), but it's habit for me with all new vape mail, so I'll be doing that too.

Well I finally got home to do a proper build on my PAPS V3/Heron. I took it by several vape shops today and must have caused a couple of orders as nobody sees quality like this in So Cal - several were on Domo before I left itching to buy one!

The V3 is such a smart improvement over arguably one of the best switch ever. The simplicity and function is incredible. The machining is world class and paired with a Heron is the best 22mm device available. Building a Heron is just as simple as the Spheriod with a HUGE touch of class. As I type this I am staring at it trying to figure out if the finish can be any more perfect. The air control is spot on - opened up still gives a mouth to lung hit allowing for the incredible flavor it produces.

Perseas - YOU NAILED IT! Not sure I can find anything you didn't already refine and improve over prior GP products with this release. Holding this device in my hand solidifies my opinion (and many others) that you are the best modder in the world. Only thing that you could do to top it is release a LUX X :)

They all have passed thru our big UC machine, but a simple cleaning with a soapy solution is always a good idea.

WOW, thank you very much for the compliments! GP PAPS X LUX is in production. GP PAPS X Ti too, but only 100 pieces will be made for now.

On another note, do you like the mod wallet of my friend? Is it practical for everyday use? Did you receive a small leather pocket with it? I suggested Kyriakos should make this addition for small parts like wire, drip tips, etc.
