I don't like stealth that much. But I don't believe they come in 18650 mode but I want it as big as I can get it

For the v3 you'll need to order the 650 tube (ss or lux), for the X you get all the extensions to go from 350 up to 650 w/kick.

Also in between those days is my birthday so it's a good present from me. I have it all planned out I'm going to wrap it with my eyes closed and put it behind my back turn around and be surprised

I figured this out I believe...The Pins that I received from Perseas are longer pins for the PAPS X. There was a group buy on another forum and there are some that did not get the long pin due to early release of the PAPS for them as I have mailed a couple in the past.

Here is a picture of the pins. The pin in the middle and the pin on the right should of been in your PAPS V3 delivery. The shorter of the two was most likely installed upon arrival.
The longest pin on the left is the longer pin for the PAPS X.

Please note, the length difference between the middle pin and the pin on the left is slight, maybe .5-1mm. Perseas will have to correct me if I am mistaken.

GP HERON UPDATE



Thank you very much for this detailed analysis!

You're right, although the reasons for gurgling are many times the way the filler is putted causing over-wicking and/or a weak battery that creates partial vaporisation and condensation is gathering inside the bell. We designed this section for compressing the vapour further, but the gurgling shows that we weren't right. We shall produce an updated bell the next weeks and we'll send it as a replacement to the owners of the Heron. I strongly suggest to the Heron owners to send us NO email about it, when we shall send it, if we can put it inside an order, etc.
The sooner we make it, the soonest we'll send it to the initial owners at no cost on behalf of them.

MUCH RESPECT to you Perseus for standing up, admitting a problem and taking care of it right away. KUDOS to you. I have been following Heron for awhile, it was going to take alot for me to buy one - not now. I shall when you have the 510 connection.

My Paps v3 also came with two pins but they are both the same size and look like the pin on the right. These pins are both 6mm.

Does anyone know if the spheroid v3 kit will work on a v1?

Spheroid v1 uses wire for the positive post. I don't recommend to open that base, if you are not familiar with welding wires in tiny spaces.
