btw... I was just thinking about the Nevr Dull. It works nicely, but I also have a bottle of Klasse All-In-One that pretty much works for cleaning/sealing every metal, and even porcelain, thing I have.

It's a little pricey, but a tiny bit goes a LONG way. It's also a chemical cleaner for oxidation and such and is completely non-abrasive.

Even on the off chance that it doesn't work well on brass, it DOES work amazingly well on sinks and toilet bowls (even though it's meant for car finishes).

Klasse is an awesome car product.

Check out cape cod also purchased from amazon.

Its almost as magical as GP Fluff.

You have chemical cleaners, you have abrasive polishes, you have chemical/abrasive cleaners and you have all of the a fore mentioned with either waxes and/or sealants.
I tend to use chemical cleaners alone if I want to clean/brighten. Abrasive hand polishes are ok if you don't have means to machine polish (machine polishing with correct abrasives).
A good wax or sealant will reduce your time cleaning.
Agreed friend. Hope you've been well.
The best proven and most used polish by collector's and people with 10k+ collections is Autosol.
It is an amazing polish. The product is sold in larger quantities and many times it is split by a couple people. The can I have will last many vehicles and mods.
I am sure Perseas, Blake are familiar with it.
It's great to work with.

You are so right my friend, I have always an Autosol in my desk and I suggested it as a cleaner for the LUX:

On another note, here is the FDA blueprint proposal on e-cigarettes characterising them as tobacco products (ok, potatoes have nicotine too) and proposing the premium brands of cigars to be excluded from the tobacco regulations! It is obvious from that sneaky approach, that when they gain ground with the first proposal, they will use it for even more strict regulations. Their next step will be to prohibit flavoured liquids pretending that this is for the safety of children. And all trade secrets have to be given to FDA ... The same happens with the EU regulation ...

https://s3.amazonaws.com/public-inspection.federalregister.gov/2014-09491.pdf

There is a petition going on as well:

https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/veto-fda-restrictions-e-cigarettes/kdKtpFH4

GrimmGreen's view:

Again, It feels strange continuing on "business as usual" when these incredibly serious regulations are dropping from the FDA. Which is why i felt compelled to say something.

This is a serious serious thing. It's worse for all of us than I think most people realize. I'm not trying to create a panic, or a frenzy. I'm trying to create awareness as to how damaging this will be for vaping. The FDA really really want's us to smoke cigarettes, and really really wants vaping to be run by big tobacco. I for one, won't stand for it.

Here is the link to the NBCNews.com article:

http://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/fda-proposes-first-e-cigarette-rules-n87916

Here is a link to what Mr Conely said regarding the news (down at the bottom) :

http://blog.casaa.org/2014/04/fda-releases-e-cigarette-rules.html

This is going to change vaping as we know it. We need to stick together, we need to formulate a plan of attack. We need to protect vaping, with truth, with science and with passion.

thank you so much for watching everyone. Vape well, and vape often

Hi everyone my name is Manh, I'm fairly new to vaping and also new to GP. I got paps x 1.5 with a heron the last vapour day and a paps v3 with heron for my wife. It's my first mod and I'm glad I made the jump. Perseas and his team did an amazing job on these devices. It's literally a work of art. I've been lurking around for quite some time, I felt like I should at least introduce myself :) I've learned a lot from all you guys and gals, thank you!

Sir Perseas, did you get my email about filming an interview at The Vape Summit? I would love to film a chat and I think the peeps here would dig it.

I got it my friend and I forgot it, sorry for this, we are relocating our office and when things settle down, we'll speak about it.

Just cause I'm me I need to ask will you offer Ti covers for the SnP 23 for the Ti X?

Also do the standard ss replacement tanks fit for the V2? I know the glass it thicker on the v2...

Thanks

Also will the new spheroid v3 have an AFC?

Thanks again

The GP Spheroid v3 won't have AFC, the space is quite limited for that.

The GP SnP SS Tanks fit with GP SnP 22 mm v2 and v1, but not exactly with the GP SnP 23 mm v2. The v2 comes in 2 sizes, 22 mm and 23 mm, the latter uses a thicker glass, the former uses the same with v1.

No Ti GP SnP covers, at least for now, we used all out Titanium rods for the GP PAPS X Ti Edition.

Does that mean the ti paps x will be on sale next vapourday? If so, one of them has my name on it ;)

Maybe I missed it in this massive thread but has the v2.5 switch been discontinued? Or are there plans to issue them in a future release?

When we create a new version, we discontinue the previous one, we started this policy 2 years ago, because we constantly strive to improve our products in terms of functionality, materials, safety, etc. Even between batches of the same version, there are changes. The moment the accumulated changes require a redesign of a major part, we proceed to a new version. Some products change quickly, some others not, depending on our ability to improve them further. We try to keep all versions compatible with each other, at least for their main parts, wanting to reduce the upgrade cost for our clients.

Very nice! I hope its turns out to be better than described. Its very rare to see any GP mods in the classies

Here is one that is up for sale now.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/showpost.php?p=12714965

For Sale/Trade FS/FT: SG PREFERRED. GP Piccolo v3 & Spheroid v2 + GM Stealth Full Brass For a DNA30 mod. Condition: Good Known Flaws: User marks. IMAGES -------------------------------------------- Description: GP Piccolo V3 + Spheroid V2 Combo. $450 SGD. obo (Pardon the price, didn't get it cheap and didn't get to use it) Traded this combo with a local fellow vaper, but I never got to put it to use as I don't own any 14500 batteries. Light hairlines both items. Spheroid seems to have a small dent, unable to capture it. Spheroid might need a new cap replacement. I was trying to dismantle it and felt the hex slot didn't feel right. You can use still use it without dismantling the top cap from what I know, but it's up to you. I didn't have the need for it, thus I didn't get around setting it up. Comes with a bag of fluff. I am keen in a DNA30 mod. Perhaps a 20 if offer is good. Might consider other mods + drip atty but no Hybrids or Genesis please.

Thanks again, P for all your hard work and efforts. We have been tracking the FDA saga for a while now. I hope everyone is aware of the negative impacts their proposals will have on the industry and our community.

Thanks man! Really appreciate the look out. Sadly I still have not gotten approved to access the classies :( but that's okay, it gives me much hope to see that maybe there are actually more people than I think putting up ads for Piccolos! :) lol and its probably taken by now. But much props!

Welcome! Awesome collection you have so far:) the X was my first mod too, and what I thought would be my last purchase has turned into a Heron, Spheroid, 500 v3, 650 Lux v3 and looking forward to a Piccolo and who knows might do an impulse purchase of the ti X and probably a Spheroid v4? Are we calling it that?

Also did you drill out the wick cap for dual wickage? Nice job

When someone has a healthy supply of this cotton built up could they pretty please send me some to try :)

When someone was asking my address to send me some - I gracefully declined. Yes we all are so different.

I was wondering about that too. Seems like having two holes might be a a good idea, though I've been running mine with no filler and just the one hole with no issues whatsoever. Question for Perseas: Was this explored during testing and was there a reason you decided to go with just the one hole? Overwicking maybe? Or maybe gurgling in the bell? Just curious.

We love simplicity, but these matter are subjective, because the concept of multiple holes is equally valid with the one hole approach. I've seen many complex designs in the market, so every wish can be fulfilled. The development of Heron is based on Spheroid and double builds weren't our first priority.

Thanks! I'm not sure what I'll be buying when vapourday comes, but I know I will be hounding the site on that day. Also, yes I had to drill another hole on the topper because I'm running dual coils at sub ohm and I felt it was a little under wicking. I tried every possibility to not have to drill the topper, it's very daunting to have to drill something so precious.

Here's pics of it under the hood
