I have spent 3 long weekends laying a patio out for us, getting an 8x12 raised bed garden ready from scratch, and getting the better part of 12 barrels, pots, and buckets ready. Gonna be growin our own produce. ;)
Add to that painting trim and eaves, typical spring time clean out, and other non sense, and I'm whooped. I have braces on my wrists as I think I've strained them offering up carpal tunnel symptoms. I've never had them so I'm assuming strained. Sigh.

Good man, welcome to the club. Gardening is my Zen and finally showed me the meaning of peace in an otherwise very opposite past.

Not entirely new to GP products (with SnP's/DT's), but scored my first PAPS, a like new 18500 SS Edition V3 with extra tube. Will be looking for more PAPS, SnP's and maybe a Spheroid V2 on VaporDay. Still trying to figure out which PAPS to buy if they are available. Once in hand though some of my ProVari's and other mods, etc will be looking for new homes.

So Yankee when you're done at home want to come work at my house:D. You probably have strained your wrists and using the braces especially in the evening should help

Braces were on all day today and sleep at night. I was stupid and didn't get braces until yesterday so for two weeks I had tingle and woke up a few times with burning in my fingers. But the right hand is swollen and hence where I think the symptoms are coming from. Close quarters.
But I am taking a few days off. We shall see how I feel this weekend. It's funny though. Many have offered work for me. :)

Hey Spydro, congrats! Hope you enjoy the Paps V3 like the rest of us. The Spheroid V3 is coming soon along with the the Paps V3 Lux and Paps X Lux. Not sure when the Limited Titanium Edition will be released though.

I'm salivating from waiting for some defray to the produce cost. Startup cost here is a tad amount. But it's not like store produce, organic or not, is half good. It's paying a small fortune for pretty much meh quality. More and more disappointing each time I walk into a produce section. As much pain as I CAN experience, this is good stuff. :)

Man!.
Just wrote a long post thanking those of you who sent your advice, and replying to your questions and suggestions, and somehow it got lost between its composition and the send button. So, I'll just reply to Idaho and try and remember all the other comments I made.

So, to summarize, I did post a couple of pics in the Heron thread, to, I think, confirm that the bell is new build not old, and to show my fluff (don't tell my wife.)

I'm not sure what you folks mean about fluff density. It's 20 x 60. Should I increase the amount or move it around in the bell?

I will rebuild the coil and see what diff that makes.
But, to ask something I asked in my Heron thread post, should the wick tails be short or does it not matter, and does it not matter where they touch in the chamber?
I do think that the coil heated normally, inside to out. I'm not sure what it means to have a hot leg nor how to know this. Could I get a pointer on this?

You folks are great!

Hope your well NY, any chance you can take a quick pic?
Running hot should be addressed first imo. The reason I ask is because 1.7 in a Heron should be very pleasant and not too warm. How is the coil heating up? From the inside out, as it should? And, do you have a hot spot or hot leg? Does the juice taste normal or burnt?

There is no price you can put on self sufficiency/reliance or growing your own food

Short tails. Just enough to touch fluff. I'll check pics in a bit.

I use the cotton topper so the one tail that is inside is just a small amount spread thinly on the deck. Maybe use a little more fluff, like 65 - 70mm and make sure you spread it out evenly after inserting the bell.

Thanks. I'm not a fan of polished tubes, which kind of leaves the LUX versions in limbo for now. A PAPS X is probably #1 on my want list as I have a need for both 22mm and 23mm PAPS with extra tubes... and for the first ones anyway would like to have the latest updates if they are possible on them. Brushed in other materials would be eyed with interest if they came out with them though, including titanium. Otherwise I'll probably start building the PAPS herd from the brushed SS versions mostly, maybe even earlier versions if they come up for sale, are still in descent condition and not priced crazy high. I have a lot to learn about them, but know the family here will teach me right. ;)

You can always refinish your Lux tube. I brushed mine with a bit of patina on the tube and I love the way it turned out. It was quite the hit at the vape shop I was in the other day too.

There's also some people that have bead blasted their Lux recently and it looks great. I can't recall who he is on ECF though , just know his FB name. I believe 9ball had his done too. If you pop by the 'pictures of your GP devices' thread there are some pictures.

Thanks for the comments and picture. Really nice, I could easily live with that finish/look. I'll look for that thread.
Slippery finger print magnets are not my thing though.;)

Got my Heron yesterday and was able to set it up last night, wanted to thank qorax for his guide. I followed it precisely and worked perfectly and also wanted to thank the rest who submitted guides as well ahead of time cause as time goes one I will also try them out and I'm sure they will work just as well.

Not a video to starting watching when drinking a cup of very hot coffee. Part of it is all over my lap now.

Great vid, thanks for sharing it.

Ripp reminds me of 1967, at Monterey Pop and the Summer of Love in San Francisco. Would have been considered "normal" back then. :D

When he first started making youtube videos he was actually informative, and very mellow. Now he just acts a fool, obnoxious, and clown trying to entertain the masses.

I subscribed to rip's channel as well but since he started having fun with his videos its been kinda hard to watch his videos. I really found his videos of the past to be helpful when I first start to build and just seems like a whole different person. Dude was really mellow compared to now.
