BOOM! I have been known to take them apart for people to see the interior finish on the GP, so why not some Bling?
Mentioning long long ago, The inside finishes of GP are something to gawk at! In my old vape days when I actually owned other tubes I started to look at the inner finishes of the others. I remember having a couple tubes that were very well known that looked like a beaver chewed out for the battery placement
In fact, I think that is exactly described it before.
Some are new to the mechanical age and can not compare but, with the GP tubes, the thread tolerances and cleanliness is amazing, the inner tube finish is smooth and buttery soft and they shine.
Ive certainly been spoiled by using GP gear that is well priced and known for having excellent quality and tolerances that are heads and shoulders above many other mods. I recently purchased a popular 22mm mod with 20x1 threading that is somewhat comparable to but a little more expensive than a GP Paps LUX v3 but without the fabulous GPin. I was outright disappointed by how filthy it arrived, how rough the inside of the tube was, the poor tolerances in the threading of the top cap (both where it threads on to the tube and the 510 connector), and it came with a small but very noticeable dent at the top of the tube above the logo. I also had to sand the Delrin insulator in the top cap due to a known problem. You know that when you get a GP mod that you shouldnt have to deal with any such problems, and if you do find an issue, Perseas will take care of you (sometimes before you even realize that there is an issue). I wrote a sincere and non-aggressive email to the modder to share with him my issues and my disappointment and we had a strange exchange where he initially issued me a refund and asked me to return it without any input from me (I later proposed a different solution which he later accepted and I kept the mod). This is just a warning to you folks who love your GP mods and may come to expect the same level of quality from other mods and modders - you might be disappointed.
Great post. Reminds me of the - oh let's just say - "box mod that costs over $250" - that Dimitri was sent for review and came with a crooked 510 connection, lol! Let me say that again. They knew that specific unit was going out for review, and didn't even look at it apparently.
I can't agree more. I am constantly amazed at the quality and care that go into designing/manufacturing GP products, as well as the stellar (very personal) customer support..... I won't mention the modder's name, but a recently got a mod that was NOT cheap (....it was more of a "tide me over until I can get a GP" mod than anything else!! Definite buyer's remorse going on now that I own GP stuff!!). When I received the mod, the button was crunchy. So I emailed the modder and asked what I should do....his response? "Spray WD40 on the switch".......
Needless to say I did NOT apply WD40 to the switch, opting instead to work it in & out until the crunchiness went away. The mod works great now, but that really turned me off to using it to be quite honest....I mean I just paid out the wazoo for this thing, and you shouldn't be telling me that!! ....just left a bad taste in my mouth.....I can pretty much guarantee that if someone's Paps had a wonky switch, that P wouldn't tell them to put WD40 on it!! LOL.....

I run a Sophia with a short upper body in my SnP for a flush on top look, and adjust the juice control with a tight fitting 2 o-ring drip tip. Just use a red o-ring in the lower slot of the top cap, no o-ring in the upper slot of the top cap. Juice control works with ease, tank never leaks even with the missing o-ring.
EDIT: I saw further down in the posts that YankeeBro and I use different configs for the SnP/Sophia o-rings. I went by what Billie suggested for the SnP way back when I got it, and it works flaulessly. Doube he has as much experience with the SnP's as the Yank does, but he knows his products and what makes them tick. Another gear manufacturer that supports his customers very well.

No. But then I already know from checking it once about an hour ago that there is a package from Michigan full of awesome GP goodies waiting for me to go pick up in my mail box. Have a feeling my first wee hours of the night walk tonight will be taken very soon now, in full daylight, something I rarely do because of the desert heat (it's only 108 in the shade right now though). But what amounts to 3 more PAPS love and extras are calling my name... I can hear them, and my mailbox is way out of sight a couple of hundred yards away.
