Sadly, after much thought, I will not be trying for a Ti. After months and months of not being particularly interested in anything, it seems there are quite a few things coming out that I'd like to pick up (and probably shouldn't). So that's one less person to F5 against!

For the heck of it, I popped one of my Kicks in it and it worked flawless. Got a tiny gap, but not a biggie. I just readjusted things and ended up with a tiny bit more gap on the top cap , under atty. I have not had good luck with Kicks on my mechs. I always get misfires , but on the X, it perfect. I still like being pure mech. Took it out and put it back in its little box.

Due to varied lengths of Kick, inconsistent battery's length depending on the brand and the need to fit the batteries in 4 modes, there are design limitations, too many Xs in the equation. For that reason, I suggest to trim a bit the spare GPin's spring to eliminate the gap.

Thank you Perseas, I remember reading that. Im loving it "kickless" I was just curious because in the ELA it just never worked for me. Nice to know that if I ever feel like it , I can.
Thanks for making such an incredible device in a 23mm width. In the world of 20mm and 22mm its great that you offered something so elegant and simple. Simply perfect.

Just received my first Paps X (Lux s/n 171). I thought that the switch on the V3's were the best switches I've ever used, but I think the X has it beat!! The switch on this thing is just exquisite...I am loving my new X!!
