Thank you Perseas, I guess the GP I saw must have been a custom finish. It was so beautiful.

Body was media blasted, but looked a bit smokier than the usual satin/ media blasted, maybe it was the lighting. The ACF ring and button were brushed.

I just wanted to make sure it was not an occasional option like the Sheroids Ive seen in the satin finish. I plan on getting another X on the next batch.

I'm gonna have to sit this V-Day out although I already had a little one Saturday night when I found Spheroids still in stock on Domo
Figured I'm making enough extra cash by using my personal vehicle for travel this week to cover it.
Ordered it around midnight Saturday night and put in the order notes that I was staying in a Hotel for the week and if it wouldn't get there by Thursday then to go ahead and ship to my house. 10 minutes later I get an email from Blake saying it'd go out first thing Monday morning and should have no problems getting here.

Yep, me too. Going to snag a Paps X Lux 18650 tube if I can....figure it'll be nice to have.

I have enjoyed using my X Lux in 18650. I am normally an 18490/18500 guy, so it's kind of refreshing to go up to the 650's again.....using a VTC5 lasts me almost all day with my Heron on top......

You might have been looking at a Piccolo, I think there were some bead blasted versions of them.

AFAIK it's an "un-segmented" 18650 tube in alubronze for the X......

I'm don't think patina evenly so much as patina with no seams. I fought myself on this tube. I did. But I don't use 650 often. My lux is in 650 now but I think that 500 is a comfortable size. So I am passing on this in favor of something else on today's list.
