I hope some of the " Usual Suspects " chimes in. I dont have a Heron so Im no help at all

Take it apart, first put in the delrin with the fork, then the metal base, then the pin screw.

Ok 3 days later I receive my spheroid pretty darn fast delivery I love it.

I just have one question for you pros. What in the world is this thing and how or for what do I use it? Never seen anything like it and I have no idea what it should be View attachment 350847

I had the same question. Its a fork tool used to remove the black delrin insulator when you find it necessary for maintenance. The two prongs go into the two holes and you twist.

Congrats on the Spheroid.

In related news, jojo and I will be decorating our Christmas tree this year with GP Forks.

Not one to complain but for $169 I expect them to include one of those stupid things to unscrew the top. I have 15 and none of them fit now I have to go to Home Depot to buy one. Just saying

It's a T15 size. But, I rarely use them. I generally use rubber bands. But I believe the new versions don't screw. Try pushing the cone from the inside like the heron.

I used to have a hybrid that used the same type of 2 holes for its delrin and I just used 2 nails for it. Maybe this could work for you...

Oh indeed. Lol T15 it is then. I was fortunate enough to get enough grip with rubber gloves on mine but that was probably 6 months ago. If its pressed in I'll bet a bic pen would sit in the cone just right. Then he could grip the sleeve with some rubber bands or gloves and pop it off.
