Thanks! I think it is #2. Does #2 attach to #1 by threading onto a threaded center piece in #1. That threaded center piece is what screwed out of mine. Does this make sense?

Cucco , I think he majority of us disassemble the switch all the way to clean it yes. I personally clean my switch and Gpin every 3-4 days and the mod top to bottom including those pieces every 8-10 days.

Sometimes I just take mine apart to admire it ..... It's just that freaking amazing

Yes ma'am. Thread all the way flush then back it out a bit Just a tony bit! As I mentioned earlier it will allow smooth operation and avoid the Nemesis famous click clack.

EDIT - I am in no fashion trying to say that the switches are physically or mechanically close. In all respect, they wish.

Just FYI: There is one more piece. The threaded center hole in #1, comes out. That is what unscrewed on mine, when the button screwed off.

I always thought that was one chunk of steel, but you're right there is another piece there. I had to look very close. No that piece should not move. Not sure what to say , that's probably one for King P.

Thank goodness! I am not crazy! Yea, right. That is what uncrewed, when I tried to lock my button. End result, the whole thing fell apart. Now, because I left some of the threading out on that part, the female square is stuck on there.

Maybe, that has something to do with her being almost impossible to unlock, when I got her. I don't know.

If it wasn't midnight I'd take mine apart to admire it some more and see the piece your talking about. First thing when I get to the office in the morning I will, good thing I won't fire myself for playing with my mods at work

Thanks. Now, I know, I messed up when I put her back together. That is what I was trying to determine. Mine, is stuck to that center piece. I did not have that center piece flush.

Im having horrible luck with my X. I dropped it on concrete last week and rolled it across my tile coffee table last night. Now it has a few boo boo's and it drives me crazy.
