I have that. It's nice. I wet sanded them and polished all the parts to get them more clear. Sometimes, with the plastic chimney, I get an off taste. Maybe it's just me.

What grit / kind of paper did you use.

That was the main reason I never bought the full clear setup for my KFL's. I don't think Plastic should be so close to the heat source and second, I was not really sure of the materials. It is made in China so you never know what you get. I also think the appearance is cheapened a bit and I don't want to see my wicks at all.

I quit smoking due to all the chemicals and additives that will kill you, so why even risk it.

I'll probably use the metal chimney , I just wanted the tank and top cap mainly. And mostly just the full sized tank.

One of my cats, had major dental surgery today. She is not a happy camper. I feel so bad for her. :(

Today cost me $2,700. Ugh.

Your care is touching! Every living being deserves our care, but we are all so messed up with our selves that we forget it all the time ... I wish a quick recovery to your cat and thank you very much for the reminding!

I used 1600, then 1800, then 2000 I believe. It doesn't take a lot honestly. Then I used step 2 and 3 of the Novus plastic cleaner and polisher. Came out pretty sweet. You can also just interchange the pieces too.

I agree. It does cheapen the appearance, but it's really sweet watching the suction inside pull juice up to the deck! I had fun for a day or so. Lol.

I get this and am also touched by the connection.

I hope I never have to spend $2700 one one dog. I have 8 of them

I hope not as well my good buddy.

I am so glad that no one converted dollars spent vs devices that could of been purchased.
Although it is like Strike said, a lot of cheese, it feels good inside.

I spent $10,000 once, to save one of my cats. I never regretted it. To this day, the story of that cat is being told in the cancer center, where my husband was treated, before passing. It is a really inspirational story. And, a win/win. I got to keep my cat. And, his story gives cancer patients hope. It's all good!
