Hrmmm, shipment on hold in Brussels. I wonder what this means? I've never yet experienced this one between GP and DHL yet.

Mine says the same. "On Hold"

Happens sometimes. Scheduling issues. It'd take the next available flight.

And yes, it sucks! Sorry buddies :)

I agree with Qorax, but I don't believe that will affect the shipments, because it is still Saturday night.

No worries. I just thought it was because of the weekend lol. ??

I had once a DHL package stuck like that for 36 hrs. at East Midlands - UK, on a Tuesday. But those are uncommon moments, usually my Sofia-Toronto packages arrive by 3 days. Heck, I received a shipment once in 2 days too!

Ugh..MS yet another MS on the classiclassiesnutes. Thinking I may need to write up some code for a ECF classifieds sniper. problem is that I haven't written any code for years and by the time I relearn it it'll probably be out for mass release. bleh.

Maybe it'll save me money not to have one... I'll definitely need more Spheroids then.

I thought I would take a few pictures and add a comment or two of the most recent changes in the GP PAPS switch . I am intentionally leaving the V1 out of the pictures as they are rare to see these days.

As we all know, the GP Switches are the best in the business by many standards and the majority of high end mechanical users. They are coveted by many 20x1mm tube owners globally. I occasionally hang out with fellow PAPS lovers on Pedro's thread and am hit up often for extra switches for sale. I sent one to a good buddy whom loves P and owner of GP mods for use on his Caravela. This to me was a great compliment to Perseas and GP. I will never convict Pedro for making bad switches as they are very well built, solid and I think Pedro is a good man and builder but, GP's switches are plain better and I love the GP Team.

There are a few here that may have seen the V1's (Brethren Blake did!) and a few that have been lucky enough to love the V2. The V2 time period confused the hell out of me learning to to lock the ring....lock the ring....lock the ring! I looooved the V2.1 switches and for the life of me could not remember to lock the device before setting down every time. I failed many times. I think this is why I got so good at wrapping coils.
If you remember the V2 switches you may remember the c clpis. I remember when cleaning the V2 actually pretending to be able to see them as they flew across the room or dropped when installing. I still have V2.1's

When the V2.5 plan was announced, I was in disbelief. I quickly purchased a First Class Ticket to Athens to Hug King P himself. Eventually he was tired of my hugs and asked George and Miro to make me stop, unfortunately with baseball bats...another story :).
I'll not forget when Perseas told us the new switch "passed the drunken test!". Soo funny and no more locking for me to remember.

When the LUX 2.5 switch hit my door step, pure love. This is when my GP switch hording came to life.
Many of us talked about them for days and days in amazement!

Now the V3 has taken over and we get to appreciate and love GP's forward thinking all over. I can not get over the V3 switch, so simple yet so detailed. I must have disassembled the V3 switch 10x or so for a look. How genius. Reverse locking switch so that it does not get tight while replacing the battery! Large machined brass post, brass spring, vent holes, smaller insulator, etc..
The feel of the new V3 switch is much like a fairy kissing a unicorns nose....sweet.

Here are a few pics for fun -

All said, I think the biggest take away from this post is the swift advancements GP produces. Always looking to improve their devices and move forward with care for their customers. There are other builders that stagnate and are complacent with their designs soon to fade into the ever changing world of Vaping while GP stays on top.

Another quick patina question. Does the patina on the tube cover the 1000s of faint scuffs my hands and pockets have made in the last 24 hours?? Or can you still see them. I'm genuinely curious about this.
Honestly depends on your chemistry and reaction to the LUX. Looking, at a couple now, I see nothing on them. Your good. Don't you have a PnB? Then No problem!!!!!!

I believe that it was two days for me this time - DHL is truly amazing the majority of the time.

Awesome bro! In my honest opinion, that's why I didn't like the 2.5 switch. I would try to lock, stuck. Then I'd take the off the tube trying to fix that. The v3 looks like it has solved that problem. But mechanically, nobody does the switch like GP.

Like Chad my only experience with GP Switches were the X and now the V3. Love them both but liking the V3 a bit more. I'm definitely buying a few when I get the chance to.
Thanks for the write up Idaho! Love it when you share the GP history with us. Like my grandpa telling war stories. :p
