Just by dumb chance I guess lol. But that's how I'm vaping it and everything is all lined up.

I pretty much re-wick with cotton daily.

I love the way the quasar looks/works. Only wish the well was 1mm deeper. Other than that you really get a burst of flavor AND cloud performance with its reduced chamber and thick top cap. When paired with the X, it feels indestructible.

Depends on the juice but usually once a day yeah. The darker sweeter ones are cotton killers for sure.

The topper's o-ring pushes a tiny bit the tank upwards. We have noticed that, but when we made a slightly shorter topper, we had leaking issues. The photo is enlarged and if someone doesn't know it, he will think that this is a huge gap, but it isn't.

As I said, it's small but with everything else being a perfect fit, it becomes visible. You are a victim of your own high quality

If you are unhappy with it, send Heron back to us and we'll try to find one that comes more flush and without whistling sounds, although the whistle is many times build related. We'll setup one to check it before we send it to you, there is no other way. There is no reason for that except a burr somewhere or liquid inside the base.

What a great offer - again this is stellar service. I would like to take you up on it, not because of the mini-gap but because of the whistle. Yes, thank you - as I said the short ones are ok when used in hybrid mode, but it is not really a snug fit with AW - while I make contact without rattle, it is loose enough that I accidentally unscrew the base at times instead of unlocking the switch. Again, no hurry on these, they can go in the envelope with the next order.

The whistle is something for which we haven't found any cause except certain builds and liquid inside the base.

Liquid was the first thing I checked. I once had liquid inside and that led to a light "gurgle", but as described above, the whistle exists when bone dry and without any build or with a choice of different builds (cotton, silica, flat kanthal and micro coil).

I am pretty distraught..I could have had an awesome deal on eBay for a piccolo spheroid combo....but I am such a noob at bidding that I got SNIPED when I was trying to snipe as well...basically the combo sold for 187.50, which is F**(*)** steal..my own fault for thinking I was secure with my bid.

Lol but I would genuinely laugh if it was anyone of you peeps from this forum that outbid me and it would make me feel a LOT better too..

When I open up the v3 switch to clean it, should the delrin ring come off and if yes, does it screw or get pried off?

Screw the switch unlocked, it is easier. I lock it very rarely and not during battery change, but this is just me. Did you open the switch to clean it after some days of use?
