On a dripper, better use silica or you'll be re-wicking the cotton every few minutes on that beast...
I use cotton in my Origen w/ dual-coils @ .35ohm and its good for about 24 hours.

When paired with the X, it feels indestructible.
As I said, it's small but with everything else being a perfect fit, it becomes visible. You are a victim of your own high qualityThe topper's o-ring pushes a tiny bit the tank upwards. We have noticed that, but when we made a slightly shorter topper, we had leaking issues. The photo is enlarged and if someone doesn't know it, he will think that this is a huge gap, but it isn't.
What a great offer - again this is stellar service. I would like to take you up on it, not because of the mini-gap but because of the whistle. It is not build related, as i have the whistle also without any build at all. I will send you a PM - maybe we can include the return Heron with my next order to save on postage. If you are unhappy with it, send Heron back to us and we'll try to find one that comes more flush and without whistling sounds, although the whistle is many times build related. We'll setup one to check it before we send it to you, there is no other way. There is no reason for that except a burr somewhere or liquid inside the base.
Yes, thank you - as I said the short ones are ok when used in hybrid mode, but it is not really a snug fit with AW - while I make contact without rattle, it is loose enough that I accidentally unscrew the base at times instead of unlocking the switch. Again, no hurry on these, they can go in the envelope with the next order.Normally we send 2 different pins, one longer and the default one. We'll send you 2 longer pins if you like and sorry for the incident.
Liquid was the first thing I checked. I once had liquid inside and that led to a light "gurgle", but as described above, the whistle exists when bone dry and without any build or with a choice of different builds (cotton, silica, flat kanthal and micro coil). The whistle is something for which we haven't found any cause except certain builds and liquid inside the base.
Ps.: I get more flavour without the Chimney Lid than with it!
I discovered the same thing about the chimney lid just a couple of days ago!
Where'd you get it from?
EDIT: Is it just me, or is this hella photoshopped?
I still laugh at how they mask around the policies of eBay in selling the stuff.
Screw the switch unlocked, it is easier. I lock it very rarely and not during battery change, but this is just me. Did you open the switch to clean it after some days of use?
