Perseas, I am so sorry....I meant to put my "Hi" post in this thread, not the Heron thread! I was on my phone & I guess it messed me up....forgive me?

My dear lady, you can put your posts everywhere. I was speaking to the guys there to avoid ongoing off topic discussions, but not casual greetings and random posts :D

Hello from Athens!

It is late here, see you all tomorrow!

It may. But if not planted it may be perfect. They sell soil test kits many places. I would suspect you have nice soil in FL with so much vegetation.
You may just be able to add a bit of 16/16/16(I use the organic and add some chicken and Moo Moo Poo).
Not sure what zone your in but I suspect 10ish and that is a longer growing season. Peppers just in pots do extremely well and looove hot weather. Much like radishes, less water = more heat from the pepper :).
I still have much to plant. Tomorrow will be summer cabbage day as my winter/spring cabbage will be coming out shortly.

Nice, thank you.

I posted this over on the GP Family Facebook as well, but I know some people don't use FB. so here we go:

Amazing vape mail today. The Paps V3 is every bit as classy and well machined as the Paps X. The impeccably designed switch, solid tube, and wonderfully understated top cap all combine to create an incredibly elegant 22mm package. If you vape sub ohm like myself, you will be more than pleased to know the performance is on par with the construction and looks. The solid tube, stellar thread tolerances, and overall build quality allows for excellent conductivity. I'll have some more thoughts once I really put it through it's paces as an all day vape, but simply my time with it today has won me over. Once again Perseas and the GP team have crafted something truly special.

I'm a little jealous, every year I think I should start a garden with hot peppers, but each year I talk myself out of it.

Plenty of time. Worse thing I would imagine is a couple few weeks behind on the produce. That's the worse thing.
Today I picked up a few plants that we will plant while the seeds get started. A rotation of sorts. :)

I'm so ready for vapour day, I had bought the axiz box mod and was having issues with it so I shipped it back and the guys at vapefiends.com were awesome and gave me a full refund which most retails would not do and on top of that sent me back the refund the same day thru paypal which was my method of payment. Was concerned I wouldn't have the funds before vapour day.

Is there time? I thought the soil needed "prepping"?
My soil is crap to be honest. Last year I did put a little top soil down but peppers are resilient little buggers.
All of the ones I planted are around 70'ish days to mature. The habeneros are around 90 days but when they get going...so many pretty little orange yummies. I had 3 plants last year and still have some left in the freezer. This year I did 4 plants :D
Use them in everything and if you can take it, I make a real nice stuffed habi.

Ok, funny story...last year I brought some habi's into the office and one of the guys took some home. He apparently didn't wear gloves to prepare them but did wash his hands afterwards. First mistake was at some point trying to put his contacts in. Yeah that didn't go well.
Next mistake was going to the bathroom to pee
From what he told me the next day, this 6ft body builder cried like a little girl.

Someone tell me quick how you post the large pics.
I've taken email sized shots on my camera, so they're relatively small from a MB standpoint.
I can upload from my Mac, but they come out smallish in the post, versus the ones I see here.
I've tried imgur and photobucket, but when I try to attach them using the attach button, ECF tells me they're too big. That's puzzlng since the same pic I'm able to upload from my Mac.
What am I doing wrong?

Transfer photos to Imgur or photo bucket and post from there. And, Mac's just kick ... btw.

Chickens are more fun. :)
Hi
Chickens are a pita. My 18 free range in my pasture and head to their coop at dusk.
The issue is they seem to shti just in the coop :). Stanks and I have to clean it.
Good news, mama cat moved her kittens and Louie the chicken has his bed back.

The chickens don't care if the coop is dirty. Get an exhaust fan going, ventilation is the key! Mine are free range also. We lose a few to predators, but the lab keeps pretty good guard of things. I let my 16 new pullets out this evening for the first time, like kids discovering new toys..:)

Howdy friend! :)

I didn't say they were easy. Just more fun. :)

I was a weekend and summer farm kid. Grandparents. Chickens, Geese, Guinea, Ducks, Sheep, Goats, Peacocks, etc.. etc..

Oh, and we raised evergreen trees. :)

Quick story..

My grandparents farm did not have ducks. My Father flew for the Air Guard. Somewhere, he found an orphan duckling on the runway. He put it in the C97, and brought it home. It lived in our house until we went to my Grandparents farm. Mom was so angry. Neat freak .. did not like anaimals .. duckling was pooping all over the house. But, Dad was boss. We named the duck Franky. My grandparents laughed at us. Franky was a girl. They got Franky a partner. Franky stayed domestic. She would knock on the door and come into my Grandparents house to visit on a daily basis. Franky was the beginning of so many generations of ducklings.. :)

BTW: I used to be a really good goat milker. So many goats!

I am a woman of many talents. :)

The fan Ive not considered. Thanks, good idea. Although, It does have good airflow with windows on all sides. Yeah I'm sure they don't care but, I am stricken with "it makes me feel better if my kingdom is clean" disease.
Oh, hi to you also
