Ive contemplated the Sophia, especially because of how much our "Yankee' loves them. Just wanted to make sure, Can it be used in most tanks such as the Phiniacs and my favorite: the Trap tank?

Yes. It's already been mentioned but yes. It will vape in any carto tank. I prefer the SnP tank but ....

Thanks Rod! And you are right about the Provari ~ one helluva rock-solid device it indeed is.

Btw, I love these of mine as well. For what it is worth ~ this small VV/VW is a gr8 'no nonsense' "grab-n-vape" device:

Hey Q...

I don't like taking my bigger/heavier mods on my 2 or 3 wee hours of the night walks. So I usually take a couple of my Halo G6/Mini Tanks, or the Megalodon with a small tank, sometimes the MicroStick with Slim/Sophia tank. So your comments/pic of the iTaste VV caught my eye about a week ago... thought they might be another viable option for that use that is lighter weight than the Don or the Donkey and with better topper choices than the G6/Mini tanks.

So I ordered an iTaste 3.0 and 3 matching EVOD's (1.8 coils), all in white just because I didn't have any white mods. Found them all in my mailbox on the first walk this morning.

The VV was in a sealed box, so I broke it out to charge it for a later walk... and found it already had almost a full charge. Loaded up one of the EVODS with Creamy Chai Latte and played with it a minute to try all the menu functions. Simple, straight forward and more info that I normally would care about (a puff counter). I used it both in VV and VW through their ranges on two more walks to get a feel for it. Pretty impressive device for the very low price point ($35 and change shipped for the iTaste and 3 EVODS). I'm not really a fan of EVODS or Kanger anything even though early on vaping I bought up a bunch of their gear/heads. But the combo does a pretty dang good job, good enough flavor, plenty of throat hit and vapor. Anyway, I am one who takes long, deep lung draws, so could use up the 10 second limit without even trying. Typically I use a lot of juice and batt life. I'm well into my second EVOD fill and the batt is still at 3.8V. I've also had the Slim/Sophia tank on it some. So it's probably got good enough staying power to handle all my walks per night on one charge and all 3 EVODS. No idea how long they last, how many recharges, but at the price whatever it is will be a bargain.

Seems strange maybe with all the high end mods and toppers, but I'm liking it enough already for that use and running errands that I think I'll order 1 or 2 more in different colors. I already have many other Kanger EVODS/Mini T3's, Aspire Mini's, Mini RDA's, etc to use on them that's all just been collecting dust.
:)

Since we're posting family pics, here's a pic of my step-daughter Lily and I. I met my wife about a year after Lily's "dad" walked out on both of them...In the 4 years that I've known Lily, I have become her "new" dad and I gotta tell you, it couldn't have worked out any better! She calls me "Daddy" and I feel so proud every day that I was able to step in an give her a more normal life....

Here's Lily after a recent dance recital (she's all the way to the right)....

Fantastic!

Wait till you Microcoil & Cotton them ;) Wherein they become as Hi-End as High could be :D All my Evods are rebuilt that way.

You are right about the powering status of the iTaste VV v3, I also find them to last nearly a full day at work. And with two tucked-in I have no fears at all running outdoors. Total peace.

Btw did I tell you, I love the form factor!

I did run it early this AM with a Sophia..... almost from when I got my first Sophia's I've done micro coil/cotton builds for them. It drove the Sophia as well as my other VV/VW mods, ProVari's, PAPS do. For my intended uses for it (them) they are a no brainer and at a price that is a steal. The light weight, relatively small size will make them an easy carry.

Long ago I built some coils/wicks for my old EVOD's/ProTanks as well, but they were silica. Not fun for old eyes/big hands. But I haven't bothered with them for a very long time because I haven't used them for a very long time. Might be worth considering again to make lower ohm micro coil/cotton heads for the EVOD's though.

Between all the three "Tanking RBAs" Sophia indeed is the BEST. Followed by Diver v2 (never ever the Diver v1) and the Killer705 can be avoided - tho vapes well.

This is what I wrote about it sometime back: >Post #7364<

Qorax Thanks for all your input as well. im gonna watch all those videos you posted and look for more to make things less complicated. Its funny though the only ones that i get right the first shot are when i set up a Genny. I have my mesh in my Did Genesis now for about 11 months and the coil on there was just changed few days ago cause i was messing with the wire to try to make it a bit looser. so it snapped. that wire lasted 9 months about so i changed it. so another 28 awg 4 wraps .89 and hits nice smooth and i just cant describe it. i just love Genny flavor.
anyway Thanks Qorax for your help input as always. sorry for blabbing. wife says i talk to much sorry. Happy vaping

I have to give a great big THANK YOU to all of you here in this AMazing GP Family forum. You all have made me feel so "Welcomed" Heck I dont even own a GP device, not even one of the beautiful drip tips. The Sphreoid is what drew me here and my wonderful Pal , Idaho and Yankee kept "inviting " me over.

When my buddy Cucco told me how much she was enjoying the thread I could not stay away any longer.

I love the fact that everyone is so easy going....... I love how you all go off topic and back, and mostly the freedom you have regarding sharing devices "other than GP" with out anyone getting upset.

ANy way, Thank You ALL

That's exactly what brought me here some year or so ago. Immediately everyone welcomed me, even P, and I noticed how different it is elsewhere. There's a love in here. An all around respect for everyone. Helping hands. From the top down. We can freely talk about everything and anything. This is really the only thread I care about on ECF. It has become my home.

It's actually very easy. No "NR" needed just straight "R" micro coil. Remove the stock coil and replace it with your new built, insert a wee bit of cotton and Bingo!

Btw, a guy in the UK sells "pre-built" Microcoiled Evod / Protank heads. Todd did a review of it a few months back and praised a lot. I've no doubt they'd be nice too.

Awesome!! You're going to fall in love.....I don't have any exp. with the X (something tells me I need to do something about that), but I hear that it's amazing...The V3 is hands down the best mod that i've ever used thus far.....Wait till you use the switch.....:D

I love the GP Paps and I held off on the GP Paps X for a while (I was hung up on the 23mm diameter), but it is now hands down my favorite mod (GP Paps X LUX followed by the SS version).
