Do you all think it wise to upgrade the brass GPin to the silver-plated Lux GPin for just that minuscule improvement in conductivity? Or is my OCD getting the better of me, lol.

Upgrading the GPin for me was all about making cleaning days easier on myself. No need to polish the oxidation off of silver plated parts, which is a chore with brass.

My daughter has a fever since Friday and I had to take her to the doctors this morning. Dr says just a virus until they get test results back.

I got back to the office with other things on my mind and forgot about Domo restocking gear today. Luckily a friend emailed me about which Paps she should purchase from Domo and that reminded me to snag myself a Heron if it's available. Woot! I got a Heron and X ring

Yeah I got a silver Lux GPin as well. Probably going to install it in my SS V3....I want to grab an M4 sliver plated screw for the switch as well (tomorrow's VD).....

Like Landman stated. My cleaning days have gotten so much easier ever since I switched out all my switch screws and GPins to the silver plated. Just soap and warm water is all you need. That was my big purchase the last VD.

I've got 2 Lux GPins coming too. I've already converted my Heron over to the silver pin and collar. I didn't even think about the silver M4 doh! My switch now's a Lux but I wouldn't mind picking some up for my spare switches.
I just realized the Lux X already comes with the AB X ring and AFC so I'm done for awhile

So I was in court all morning on a trial and thought I would miss the Domo sale. We had a break at 10:30 a.m. I went outside and used my phone to log on and was surprised to see the Heron was still available. I purchased a heron, the X ring converter, and 4 packets of fluff.

Is there anything else I need to go with my new paps X.?

On a side note, the newest packets of soy sauce now come with air flow control.

Sorry I missed your text this morning AceBro, I think you figured it out! btw, you don't need Blakes # , sit back and relax all is good .

Also, there is no measurable conductivity increase on the silver plated M4. If anything it was done for less screw cleaning.....
and maybe a bit for the coolness factor . I am pretty sure there are a few here that understand the cool factor....right xtreme101? Bill? Woods? Strike? Arms everywhere crazy? Yankeefrobro? jrs?
