Im so jealous, Spydro...... YOU met CLINT EASTWOOD !!!!!!
He was one of my biggest "crushes" as a kid and growing up, for decades...... My first memory was being at the drive in with my Mom and Dad watching " The Good , the Bad and the Ugly...... I did not know what I was watching, but I did know that "The Man with no Name/ Blondie" changed how I compared all "cowboys" from that moment on. Before that it was John Wayne, Randolf Scott and many other great actors, but I remember thinking "now THATS a Cowboy"
A few decades ago, when Clint was filming " Heartbreak Ridge" my best friend called me in a panic, she told me to get to her DVD
shop RIGHT NOW....... She said that the bar down the street was filming something and CLint was there. SHe was stuck and could not leave but that I should go there and see and meet him.
I was so excited but my shyness won over me..... I felt too shy to go there by myself and just walk up and introduce myself like all the other gushing fans. I did not go, I regret it.
I just looked up the year " The Good , the Bad and the Ugly" came out(67). I was born in 62, so we must have been seeing it way after it was released, because my little brother was with us, and he was born in 67. I know I could not have been more than 10? I did not know what was going on in the movie, it was a long one. I just remember the theme song and people getting shot, and every time I heard the "aaahiaaiahhhh, wah , wah wah " Id look up and see him squinting and shooting a bad guy.....
