If the flat top cap v3 will work fine along with a v2.5 tube and switch, then I might be interested in one as well.
I would imagine they will as they should be the same specs just without the air slots. And those work on 2.5 tubes.

Oh I SO agree with this. ALL of this. We have flavorings. Tons. Some never used. Some used regularly. And this is the thing. If Mother Gov did the worse case, the supply we have would take us for years.
NIC is the most to be affected by any regulation. Flavors can be had and used for anything. VG/PG wouldn't fall into that either.
I'd like to say here that you're wrong about people, but sadly you are correct. Thankfully people aren't all the same, but enough are unsavoury to make cynicism useful
The same people that will forcefully tell you what price they are going to pay for an item, will always ask top dollar when the situation is reversed!
It is depressing to read that you have had people conspire to try and take advantage of you in this way, but not surprising. One thing I would add is that, not matter how convincing their words, there are always tells in the mannerisms of folks like this. If your gut instinct detects a hint of BS, then proceed with caution until you are 100% satisfied that you were wrong. Instinct is a powerful tool - ignore it at your peril...
There are currently 23 people who have submitted the form and shown interest in a GP Paps v3 flat top cap. This number is currently less than the 30 to 50 that Perseas is looking for to justify production.
Thanks for your submission!

Where is the doc? I'll sign up for 2 or 3
Edit: I just saw P greenlighted the project.
I like being prepared, I took the opportunity to upgrade my deep freezer out in the shop to a new one. I re-purposed the old one just for nicotine storage. I think I will be ok with the liters of high strength on the shelves at -30 F
Flavorings will be available, we are a drop in the bucket to what artificial flavorings are used for. PG/VG will always be available.
Remind me never to drink anything outside of my normal Crown N Coke again, please?
Serious hangover.

I've done very little DIY. I tried many flavorings at first...all the common ones most use but I found the "natural" flavors not so natural.
Then I found http://www.medicineflower.com/flavorextracts.html
USDA organic extracts made all in house using a very low heat process. And the potency of the extracts justify the added cost.
I made some of the best juice I ever had. I even use the extracts now in baking.
I just got too busy to keep it up. Plus the space involved. My vape table is full enough with mod gear.
I've struggled with replying to your post... because the full answer to it is as dark as dark gets. Not because of those who cheated me, but another on that forum that ruined lives. It should be said (without all the known sorted details) for the benefit of folks here that may not realize just how dangerous some so called Internet friends can be.
But because it is so dark, out of respect for Perseas I will not post it on his forum without running it past him first to see if he agrees it has merit here.
Please realize that you really do need to protect yourself and your family on the Internet, be very wary of who you take things to a personal level with off the forums.
When I moved here to Florida, over two years ago, I seriously downsized. I got rid of so much stuff! I was so proud of me! What I kept, I packed into two car trailers. One, had my 'personal' stuff. The other had my 'garage' stuff(Motorcycle, 4-wheeler, generators, air compressors, tools, etc.). Since I have not yet found my true 'home', almost everything I own is still packed in those trailers. I never thought it would take me so long to figure out where 'home' is. Starting to think, I will never figure it out. Not really sure why. This is nuts....![]()
But, it's all good!![]()
I had to flag the "BIG" part of your last comments as it was the same for me. If you folks haven't figured it out yet, I don't do things unless I do them all the way. So I started by doing countless hours of research into DIY, as in day and night after day and night for a couple of weeks. Then I started ordering everything needed to set up a mixology lab in my place to do it. The product of someone who took one too many chemistry classes in high school and college and was now the Mad Chemist. The lab is still in place, a solid maple desk w/solid surface top I made long ago for something else that is dedicated to DIY, with it, a shelving unit and my refridgerator stocked with way too much of everything. Way too much for various reasons... I over bought some things (like flavors) that have still never been used; bought things I later replaced with something better (like bottles, changed to glass only but still have lots of LDPE as well), bought tools I seldom or never used (like a nic test kit, some of the lab glass), but especially one that is the downfall of all of it... I burned myself out on DIY by making far too many batches of test liquids about 3 dozen 5ml at a time for a few months when almost any of them were doable eventually and lots of them were easy ADV's. It can take me hours to make up 36 5ml test bottles to specific recipes with the breaks my bod forces me to take sitting at the lab or computer desks, and alot of time doing the steps of aging them the old way. IOW, I forgot KISS. Adding the UC was something I should have done from day one instead of about 4 months into DIY. It negates the need to make so many test bottles all at once (that I did because of the long waits while aging them). Took hours doing the record keeping too. Then one day when I had over 100 5ml test bottles to tend to, shake and breathe, make notes on, etc I said enough. The burn-out turned my attention to upgrading mods/toppers instead and trying out endless premades to vape in them along with the ADV's I had made in larger quantities. I was still doing that until I got my GP family recently. So I haven't done any DIY for months and all my DIY ADV's have been used up. Since most of the premades I've bought are from no's to no freaking way vapes for me I really should get back into DIY... at least mix up a few of my proven ADV's - run them through the UC on a regular basis.
Store the NIC in dark Amber glass if you haven't already. The freezer can handle it and it won't break down like in those plastic bottles.
You're right. Flavors are used for so many things. And on top of that, there is a company called natures flavors that actually extracts for food purposes. Since they are natural extracts, they tend to not be as sweet out of the gate. So it's a more natural taste. They even offer diacetyl free, though those are more limited in flavors. You have to wait a few weeks for the order to complete many times as they are fresher.
PGA and VG....you know it.
I have several Nature's Flavors, I failed in my usual zest for research before buying and rushed in to buy, the initial flavors I ordered smelled AMAZING. They are the ones with Gum Arabic so they have been relegated to the Kitchen as Gum Arabic can cause asthma like symptoms on inhalation. The clear flavors they offer, with the telltale offering of pipettes in the menu range from AMAZING to kinda good.
The medicineflower ones mentioned above are worth a good go at, they have some really authentic flavorings and you need very little percentage wise.
As for the tobaccos, I make my own flavoringsas well as a few other natural extracts.
I haven't been around here much, but I am an overkill nutcase.
When I get my nicotine in I test it using the titration method and relabel it per exact strength (I have stopped buying from vendors that vary from advertised strength by more than 1.5%. If it came in PET or LDPE/poly something I promptly place in sterilized amber glass bottles for long term storage. I also do a wash of food grade argon gas to get the oxygen out before capping and freezing.
It has recently become apparent that my lunacy knows only the bounds of my wallet and the space I am allotted by my wonderful, tolerant and very supportive nonsmoking nonvaping wife.
Whoohoo! Thanks Perseas!I'll give the green light on Monday, for 50 flat top caps v3 to be produced and they will be available during September, no worries![]()
Im getting ready to give Black tea a go. I hear its as easy as bringing the VG to a light boil, adding some black tea of choice and letting it steep for a bit. Some use it right away, others let it steep longer with the leaves in it.
Have you done any teas? and if you have any tips before I take the plunge?
