I know what catnip does to my girl cats. It'd be worth moving to FL to watch your catnip party. And perhaps you'd comb out my cats too.

A regular ritual in my house, is cat de-shedding. I take each cat out to the lanai, and vigorously comb them with a de-shedding rake. I do it under the ceiling fan. That way, the hair flies off and away from them. Some of them, 'obviously' like it. A couple of them do not. Some of them, just pretend they don't like it. If you don't know, that's a 'cat thing'.
When I am done.. OH MY! What a mess to clean up! Piles and piles of flying cat hairs! Only a true 'cat lady', could look at that big mess as a good and happy thing.
After the clean-up, we have a catnip party!

I don't DIY yet Cliffy, but those artificial sweeteners such as Sucralose scare me.
I'm convincing myself by using the harm reduction rationalization. I'm using a good amount of artificial flavorings already that I am willing to try some anyway. I am trying to limit my exposure to diacetyl if possible...
Cotton candy, marshmellow or now sucralose.
A very large portion of the flavors that most juice makers use is the same exact stuff the DIY makers can buy. As always I could be wrong but I'm fairly certain that very few juice makers develop their own flavorings. This is a major reason that I make my own so I know exactly what is going into the mix.

I generally use EM to impart a bit of sweetness, but if I find I need an extra kick in the sweet pants, I just use this basic sweetener here.

erythritol is what I used as a sweetener. I regularly keep it at home and it worked well. It is the only sugar substitute I use.
Wow Spydro that's gorgeous. Where in Vegas is that? I never expect to see a lush oasis like that in the middle of a desert.

Folks often don't realize that there is water on the desert, especially on one like the Vegas area of Mojave so close to 10K' high mountains that get a good snow pack most winters.
The picture is at Lake Las Vegas, a fairly large development in the foothills on the east side of the valley where most of the rain water we get here drains to. It went broke some years ago, everything went back to the banks, but is thriving again I think. A city within a city of sorts, with 5 star resorts, restaurants, golf courses, and high dollar homes and condos. Was one of my son's bigger accounts until it crashed. He designed/supplied/maintained all of their computer based systems and security systems, built/hosted their web site, did their computer generated advertising and wrote custom apps for them. It was not uncommon for him to be there for days/nights on end, so they provided an executive condo in Montelago Village (close up top right photo left side) for him to use anytime he didn't want to drive home across the valley .
I would definitely like to get a couple of the single holsters with the flap cover. I also never got one because I thought they only existed without the top cover. My shopping list is now growing for the next VapourDay.

Not an answer to your original question... but don't forget to add Saline to your mix, think of it as moisturizer for your juice...
