I felt a little crunchiness in my X switch just now. I cleaned it a couple days ago. It was butter this morning but all of a sudden, crunchy. Opened it up to find black goop all over it. A Sony VTC5 purchased from RTD a few weeks ago.

That's really unfortunate Sedge! I hope that everything will be ok with your X. It is fortunate that something more drastic didn't happen.

I am really dedicated to using only authentic AW's are going into my mods. I've just been really happy with their performance.

Hey Ms. Cucco! You've been awful quiet lately. I hope that you are doing well. We miss hearing how much you love your X's.:)

Hey! Howdy! I am still here. Just feeling a bit under the weather. Hence, the quiet...

BTW: Have I told you guys lately, how much I love my GP Family, and my Xs? :)

It cleaned up fine. I've never had an issue before and I tag, track and log all my bats. Where and when purchased, each charge cycle and the volts before and after charging and internal resistance (most important).
And RTD is one if the most reputable sources for genuine bats.

Are you sure there wasn't water trapped underneath the insulator that goes around your negative post on your button?

I forgot to pop that out one time and dry under there when I washed my button. My battery looked exactly like that by the time I noticed.

Path. That could very well be the case. Thanks.

Speaking of neg end delrin, does that come out like the positive end delrin? When I have cleaned , it does not seem to come off.

So, my TI X tubes got stuck 2 days after I got it. I apparently didn't use enough due diligence under the running water. Perseus very kindly offered to let me send it back to GP and either get it repaired or replaced, which was something he did not have to do. The problem was not one of his making after all.

I was unable to get it into the mail until the beginning of August. What happens in August in Sophia?

To make matters worse, the shipping company I used sent the parcel regular 1st class mail rather than my requested registered mail. So, the last tracking I had was that it had left Chicago on August 6.

I've been sitting here for 3 weeks on pins and needles wondering what had happened to my TI X. I really expected to hear that it did not make it to GP and that I was simply out of luck. I had prepared myself for that eventuality and was prepared to accept that fate.

This morning, I awoke to an e-mail from Miro! My TI X was delivered to GP and the replacement had already been handed over to DHL (it's already left Cologne)!

Perseus, I am so very grateful to you and your team for the client care you provide. You stand head and shoulders above any company I have ever dealt with in client support. I cannot properly express how I feel at the present time.

I am eagerly awaiting the next VapourDay. I feel a need for some more of my favorite gear.

No other way to put it - P and team are the best.

My TiX is going back too, but I elected to wait until after Euro August even though I could have got it there a ways before they went on vacation. They had dreams to chase coming soon, so I saw no need to bother them with my mod then. It still sits as I left it many weeks ago, and has never been used. So it'll be going when they are ready for it and P contacts me.

My new Sheroid is going to IdaBro too when I can get it shipped as he offered to take care of it's problem for me. Another who is right up there with P when it comes to support on this gear. :thumb:

    No problem :)

It does not screw out, no. It will pop out. Its press-fit in there lightly. I just use a flat-head and pop it out with very minimal force.

I am so grateful to you and all people here for this amazing support! By the way, we're designing a separate GP Service to be available in the foreseeable future, I'll post details when we are ready.

What goes around comes around Perseas. :toast:

The new service will be simply amazing and soooooo typical of the King P we all love and respect. That's all I'll say about it for now though. ;)
