Quick question here from a noob, so when I buy a used item should I send king p the serial number that I have ? I have never registered any of my GP gear and was unsure if I needed to update that somewheres?

The only thing we are going to ask in case of a replacement under warranty, it is a proof of ownership or an order number or a confirmation from the first owner that he has sold it to the current owner. When you buy second hand GP mods from unknown people, I recommend to ask in advance for a proof of ownership.

We keep an internal data base with the names and the serial numbers of the mods sold from our store and the range of serial numbers sold by our resellers in a given time. In many cases, I have been asked to confirm the data of a legitimate owner and 2 years ago, a mod was found to be stolen and the buyer canceled the deal. The web registration lists are created by the vapers themselves, so I don't intervene in them.

Good evening GP fam, long time no post. You guys are on a roll here as usual since I last looked another 100 pages have been generated and I had to skip forward to post lol. I hope everything has been good for you guys and girls.

I have lately been on a Atomizer quest and have run across some really good gear. I have been extensively testing Rayon for what a month or more and have found it to be the best out of everything I have in my arsenal. I am able to run some pretty crazy builds for a long time on Rayon. I had a dual coil build that I ran for 2 weeks @ sub ohm levels and it did not miss a beat at all. I have to actually remove the wick because I needed to dry burn the coils to de gunk them and my Rayon came out completely white after a rinse. I was never able to get those results with cotton. I also feel that that when changing juices Rayon does not hold on to the old flavor long. I have been using flavorless juice in between flavor switch outs and have found that if you had dark juice it turn the wick back white and once I vape that off the previous flavoring is gone. I would recommend it to anyone who is still on the fence.

Anyways love you guys and have a great night, I will try to pop in more often! :D

Doh! I don't know how, or when, it happened but I just noticed that what I thought was a stray piece of hair on my TiX is actually a scratch about 1.5" - 2" long.

My baby! I suppose I could send it back for refinishing but maybe I should wait till there are a few more. =P

Has anyone done a refinish with their PnB tool? (I have one, but haven't actually used it, yet ...)

I have. The PnB tool is fantastic! In one case I was able to remove some faint hairline scratches with autosol, cape cod and a buffing cloth, but I screwed one tube up trying to use a really high grit paper. I got it to look presentable, but the SS finish is completely gone. Really slippery now. If I couldnt get rid of those hairlines with cleaners on my Ti, I wouldnt chance ruining the finish. I'd send an email to GP about it. Who who knows...maybe they can revive it...

Btw... something I've noticed ... condensation in the base of the Heron is natural (not flooding) but if left too long it leaks between the positive contact cap and the delrin insulator of the gpin. If left for too long it collects in the chamber with the spring and leaks out from the bottom.

Anyone else experience this?

I know I should probably wipe the base out more regularly than I do but I'm wondering if a little o-ring would fix this. I need to go look for my old protank heads.Hopefully I haven't thrown therm out...

The longest I've let my Heron sit was a week and I haven't experienced any leaking but my tank wasn't filled all the way just enough to sit in the fluff.

Yes, I have noticed some condensation up in the area where the GPin meets the Positive contact (where the Serial# is located).....not a lot, just a little, and not all the time either.....My Rose V2 does the same thing on occasion...I now make it a point to remove the GPin with each tank I go through and dry up any condensation that might be there......

I should do this. Maybe it's the way I vape ... but I bet it's probably due more to the amount I vape and the fact that I can for 4+ days without opening up the Heron base (if I don't change flavors)

A big Hello to the Fam. I hope all of you are fantastic. Cool weather has started to creep in and Idaho seems to be in full harvest mode for everyone. Some of us are already prepping the fields for next year already.

I also get a bit of moisture in all of my Herons. I chalk it up to maintenance and the fact that I fill them to the absolute fullest I can :). I still can not get over how long a Heron tank lasts.

@Cliffy - I have used the PnB countless times for myself and a few others doing mods, devices and GP topcaps. Somewhere buried in the Tips thread I have a few posts.
