Hi Cucco. It's quiet. Maybe folks have gone back to ciggies.
I read an article in today's NYtimes about big tobacco companies and their warnings on their cigalikes packages.
What was interesting, and always disheartening, were the comments to the article. There is so much distorted "news" about ecigs. Not to mention the you-pick-it category [puritans, nannies, scared-about-their-kids, not-minding-their-own-business, etc., etc.] that it's no longer a rational discussion. I guess a symptom of what's going on overall.

Back to my comments on Heron vs. Spheroid. Didn't do a thing to the Heron, but I picked it up this afternoon, and it vaped wonderfully well. Nice warm and flavorfull vaping. WTH?

It is a cool pic. I love all cats, but I have a special place in my heart for black cats. I have been a cat rescue, my entire adult life. Sadly, for several stupid reasons, the black kitties are harder to adopt out. Hundreds of times, I would go out to rescue a litter, and my heart would sink a little with each and every black kitty I counted. You just know, it is going to be 'that much' harder to find them a home. So, my love for them, grew 'that much' greater.

Crazy BS they have out there about vaping! It is nuts!

Hello my GP Family!

I spent some money on me again! Twice, in like a week. Hmm.. Crazy stuff! Maybe, I should go see my shrink? Oh, wait a minute, she was the one who told me to spend some money on myself. Never mind.

Somebody was getting rid of this. Never used. So, what the heck, I'll give it a try. I do love tools!

Quick question to the more experienced vapers than I:

I took apart my PAPS X and noticed the screw all blackened. The bottom of the battery is blackened as well. Most of it, but not all, wipes off easily with my finger and a paper towel. My battery is an authentic AW IMR from RTD Vapors that I received just one week ago. I don't think it was any venting issues as I am using a 1.8ohm coil in a Sofia that worked fine with the same battery on a different mech mod. What is going on, and should i be worried about this at all?

How is the house hunting going?

It is a Coiling Gizmo. I can wrap coils! Like doing it with my screwdriver, wasn't good enough! But, I can test that new 'tensioned' coil concept. People use them to make wire jewelry. But, I have many thoughts and ideas for cat toys! I am thinking, I can design some toys, and give them to rescues and shelters.

You can use an eraser to clean up the gunk. And I'm assuming you've cleaned it recently, make sure to get EVERY nook and cranny good and dry. The blackness usually happens when something wasn't completely dry internally.

Very cool! I need to go get some c-clamps for mine. I have c-clamps in my trailers, but I don't feel like digging. One of these days, I will find a home, and unpack my stuff. I miss my great tools!

My coiler is pretty nice for a bought one. Don't you think? I figured out an adjustment, for how I am going to deal with the lead wire. Fun!

Sedge had a problem somewhat similar. It is somewhere in this thread. He posted several really good photos if I recall correctly. Small bits of moisture under the negative contact point screw was the suspect. It doesn't take much moisture to cause a problem.

Ah! I see. Pretty cool! It's kinda funny as I saw a post somewhere for making micro coils and the guy was using a stepped mandrel. I searched up and down at all of the crafts and bead stores for one. Finally found a set at Micheal's. The guy at the register asked me if I was going to make chainmaille. Rather try to explain that I was going to use it to build vape coils I just nodded and said yes. He thought that I was cool. I had always used a blunt tip needle or a tooth pick and needed something different. The mandrel just didn't work out for me. Then I found that little jig thingie and that works great for me but of course I'm pretty much stuck on micro-coils only.

It took me over 7 months to find my last home. What a pain it can be. I wish you the best.

Did you recently clean your switch? I found a bit of residual moisture caused my battery to bleed black goop. Now I'm extra careful to dry it

It came with: 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6.5mm, 8mm, 10mm, 11.5mm, 13mm. All, too big.
