Hi to everyone!! Been awhile since I visited here to all my GP friends!! Been busy and out of town, actually just caught a 2 night back to back shows of all time favorite rock band Mötley Crüe!! Their final tour....supposedly..... Got to see them 3 times in 2 months...once in Charlotte and back to back shows this past weekend in Atlantic City!! Lots of fun and rock! Alice cooper was actually awesome as well!!
Anyway, hope everyone is doing well...best wishes to Cucco with the house!!

Hey GP Family,

My collection does not compare to most I've seen here, I still enjoy them. Sooner or later it will be all GP quality!

Just thought I would share.

Seventy-six years ago today Orson Welles broadcasted his radio play of H. G. Wells's The War of the Worlds that caused a nationwide panic in the United States.

I wasn't around yet to hear the original broadcast, but have heard it several times. But I did see The War of the Worlds film when it was released in theaters in 1953.

Old is being old enough to go see that flick in 1953 (albeit with my parents). ;)

I was a post war baby from the late 40's.

That's really funny. I lived in the UK for two of the last 5 yrs, and miss it a great deal. Though never seen or heard of Woking. 'Course, spent all that time in Smackonbottom just outside of London. Just kidding, was in London, which is a fantastic city in a great country.

I wasn't around when the film was released. In the book, the Martians invaded Woking in the UK. I got to visit Woking for business many years ago and I got to see a statue of the Wellsian Martian Tripod that they have in the middle of town:

That's awesome Z! I've been a Cooper fan for many, many years. Crue is awesome too. Sounds like a good time to me! I heard Tommy Lee puts on one helluva rollercoaster ride too. ;)

Oz, you know, I listened to a lot of Cooper and did not expect such a performance but his show was one of the most theatrical shows I have ever seen. I hope I'm as energetic as he is at 65ish or so!! Frankenstein, poison, and schools out was out of this world!! I would have loved to have been strapped in the seat behind Tommy on his solo upside down drum.....freaking awesome!! During one of the mini breaks, Nikki Sixx tells a short story of their beginning in Cali and how it all began, which I knew from reading their latest book....The Dirt.... Just awesome!

The whole Trash album was one of my favorites. Doesn't surprise me at all, he has always known how to own a stage. Glad you had a great time. Wish they made a stop in Montucky.
