My V4 was supposed to arrive today. DHL attempted delivery ridiculously early this morning while I was in the shower, so no V4.
It'll be redelivered tomorrow, but I still wanna scream! Lol!
They don't have a drop off place in Philadelphia? I live in a busy area and DHL just dropped off my package at a service point (a stationary shop) about a block from my apartment. I just walk over after work and signed for my mod.

Nowhere I could get to today.
My order for new batteries from RTD arrived, though.
Suppose I ought to consider that now I have time to fully charge a new batt for baby's arrival tomorrow.
Lol!

DHL service is quite flexible, you can call them in advance to deliver it at a different place, at your office for example, you can leave a signed note at your door as many have done in the past or inform them about specific hour. I suppose all these differ for every geographic area, but they've done it for many places in the States.

That was unfortunate, I'd feel the same.

Tomorrow you'll have it, I hope DHL won't come at the same time :)

Indeed!
I suffer no more than disappointment, however. It's just that the anticipation is driving me crazy! [emoji16]
Actually, I'm rather amazed that it made it here as quickly as it did, my friend.
This is the first time I've purchased directly from VapourArt. In past, I've always ordered from Domo.

Oops! I understand your agony, but like Perseas suggested - next time leave a note at the door - it works.

Agreed!
I understand it was health issues that prompted his closing down. Even more a pity.

I am strongly oriented to alternative medicine, so I was a little help to him at the time we were speaking. I haven't any news since last year. I hope he is better now. A damaging work environment might overload us with work and high stress, influencing our health and forcing us to change occupation as a solution.

I can tell you from personal experience, that stress can " break you" both physically and mentally. It sounds silly and trivial , but the damage it does cant always be fixed. Its been 7 years? Im still broken, but Im trying to get better.

Drs put you on the usual meds and some can damage you even worse. Some Drs listen to you and others dont care about the side effects and the permanent damage some do.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation.
There is nothing silly, or trivial about your experience. I'm willing to bet that a number of us share the same.

Most Drs want to sell not to hear, unfortunately.
I agree with you, stress is everything, it is responsible for all of our wrong choices and their repercussions, whether these are food, drugs, lifestyle or people. It creates a vicious cycle, most of us have become insomniacs from the noise pollution and mainly from the light of our screens; the brain is stressed by the light which is not natural to exist at night. An approach that works for me is to convince myself that I want to sleep, the mind is very receptive under the right mood*, of course I am pretending, but I see progress :)

“Don't pretend to be what you're not, instead, pretend to what you want to be, it is not pretence, it is a journey to self realisation.”
Michael Bassey Johnson

* This means to be inventive without chemicals, to use everything, from specific sounds, scents, water to candles and meditation. Many times there is a reason we can't sleep, our subconscious tries to bring our attention to some unresolved matters. If we start trusting and letting it to unfold the images, slowing the train of the thoughts, just observing the reoccurring main theme who seeks recognition and acceptance. It might be something insignificant or not, but it seeks acceptance, our little demons need love before they dissolve in the inner sea to let us sleep deeply at last. The body is wise but gets crazy when we don't hear its signals. We need to bless frequently. A good laugh works miracles too :D

Reading the above leads me to think we may have much in common, Perseas.
I do not presume to know your mind, but find personally
familiar threads of thought and perception in your words.

I think all here share the same spirit (Asylum) and I'd like to post another quote below by the same author, that I have used many times to relax. You see, our society has a taboo regarding death discussions in contrast to the ancient societies that cured people from serious diseases by using the power of the voice, by telling myths (allegories) and by using herbs in certain locations, times and shapes greeting their dead as they were going to the same place we go every night. In the Hellenic mythology among those who were living in the Underworld (subconscious) were Thanatos (death), the winged-brother Hypnos (sleep), and Morpheus (dream), who was the son of Hypnos. Hypnos lived next to his twin brother, Thanatos and their mother was Nyx (night). Insomnia (in- "not" + somnus "sleep") as a word comes from Hypnos Latin counterpart, Somnus. The personification of these archetypical forces refers to the various relations of energy patterns happening during our sleep state and how we can resolve their conflicts with the rest states of being.

Their approach is phenomenally poetic and scientific at the same time. We have a hard time to understand this today, because we quantify everything with gross measurements, defying the qualitative relations that govern the natural rhythms of the cosmos expressed as geometric structures of π and φ. From the Aristotelian laws of Logic (the way mind works), we kept only the inductive method of reasoning, forgetting the other 2, so we are insane by 2/3 :)
This ancient knowledge, a precise way to describe reality and its interconnectedness, has been preserved by the Jesuits, who first explored the pyramids, for practical use by their missionaries till the late 1800s. Then it was analysed by the French physicists during the early 1900s, it was called micro-vibrational physics and they researched it till the WW II came in. Finally it reappeared in 1970 by Ibrahim Karim, an Egyptian architect who gathered everything creating a new science, the BioGeometry.

“I die in sleep, and sleep is death and death is unknown, and unknown is God.”
Michael Bassey Johnson

And you know what? I've been using it more frequently than the "others" since its arrival ;) It's easy/er to build, maintain, fill and has a sleek/er footprint with any mod. Thus, more pocket friendly.

That's what I love about my Piccoloid, super easy to build, rewick, fill...has awesome flavor, and fits in a pocket. I love taking it out of the house or to work, it's perfect for out and about. This new Spheroid is just gonna take the ease of use up a notch, and the vape is gonna be even better with the AFC...not to mention pure sex with the GPin and hybrid on the Piccolo...oh my, so exciting [emoji14]
