Still waiting for spheroid to be release..my fingers are itching to pay for origenny and get spheroid next month..but the thought of spheroid might be hard to get keep me on hold at this moment..waaaiiiiiting
OK, so piccoloid v2 will be piccolo v4 / spheroid v4 combo with hybrid connector? Do we know the price point yet?

Exactly, Piccolo v4+Spheroid v4 is the Piccoloid v2.
I will calculate the cost the next days. We'll try to line up the engravings of the Piccoloid, and from the moment theses are manual and time consuming processes the quantities will be quite limited.
The construction cost of the Spheroid v4 projected a € 111 retail price, but we decided to offer it at € 99 with a 510 connection, a white drip tip and a silver plated 510 pin.

The image above pictures a bead blasted v1 and a prototype v2 which differs from the production unit in many details, like the AFC slot which will be lined up with the Heron engine engraving, the unit will be passed from electropolishing and then manual brushed polishing, better machining, drip tip, etc.
To give you an idea of how smooth becomes a part after electropolishing, below is the Spheroid base v4:

I found a GP aficionado while in Vegas this past weekend. He was a craps dealer at the Monte Carlo; asked me how I liked my Spheroid. I informed him of the redesign and upcoming sale of the V4.

He doesn't sound like much of a GP aficionado if he was unaware of the upcoming GP Spheroid v4.
