Government has evolved to consider themselves experts on what you can and cannot do for your own self. Gone are the times where warnings are enough, where you are told “here you go but you’ve been warned”.

What the government thinks, goes. And they naively want you to believe its in your best interest. The fact if the matter is that the dollar given by companies speaks louder than the voices of those of us it impacts.

Perseas, whatever may come of all of this, I wish you the absolute best. Your gear has saved me SO very much in so many ways and you know many of those reasons. GP is still the gear I count on daily. My only fault is I prefer some of the older versions with the older wicking methods. That fluff will always be my go to.

Hey Perseas. You will know a lot more than me about litigation.
As we in the UK are exiting the EU and Teresa may has to implement article 50 doesn't that mean that we won't have to follow laws passed via EU come may?

Doesn't that mean that should we choose to continue buying, using, importing and selling ecigs that means you can just move here and crack on? Doesn't it?
Hopefully without a large tax increase which some members of parliament are already calling for this week.

Perhaps it's not the end for the UK?

Let me know.

You wouldn't even have to leave Athens.

I could control your business from here if you want ;)
(JK obviously :))

Thank you for the offer! Technically, the UK will be under the EU legislation for at least the next 2 years. And the requirements of TPD are unlikely to be met by small scale manufacturers like us. Whether PM Theresa May and the UK government decide to repeal these regulations in UK, starting in May, remains to be seen.

Is the Heron V3 project dead or will you produce it?
Other small manufacturers did register their products already to be TPD compliant, is this too expensive or do national rules apply that makes it harder for you than for instance manufacturers in Germany or Austria?

The design of Heron v3 won't pass the TPD regulations as it is now. If we modify it to comply with them, it will become very expensive. We have to apply for EVERY European country and for UK, 6 months prior its release. I can't analyse the differences among the various national TPD implementations here, but they are all over the web. It's a mess ...

Every manufacturers has different standards and policy. We can't function with such restrictions, keeping the same quality, same design principles and reasonable prices as we did in the past years. Maybe others know better and I wish them to be successful in the post TPD era.

If we are able to gather the necessary funds, we'll make the v3 during the next 2 months, since the first production model was sold in August and it s considered an older device.

Well there are contradicting reports on this. Some lawyers argue that tpd cannot rightfully cancel the principle that if a product is legal to sell in one EC member state it is legal to sell in all others (there are exceptions but those must be listed taxatively and vaping products are not).
I guess we will see several court cases to clarify the situation after may.
TPD2 has unfortunately lots of room left for speculation (like 2ml limit, does it even apply to RTAs?) which does not help the consumer or the industry at all. I can see how small manufacturers shy the legal and financial risks to achieve legal clarification at court.

:?: I don't get what you mean.
So you can produce the 'normal' 3ml or whatever it is now and your fine within the next 2 months?
Or it has to be tpd compliant now?

It depends on the first circulation date and the end date. It differs from country to country. It's a grey area.

Hi Perseus,
Sorry to hear about your headaches. I just ordered the dripper and dripper pro. I still use the spheroid v2 and heron v1 and still have about a sheet of fluff left! I've just been rinsing and drying them. They serve me well. I was given a squonk mod that I have yet to use and that's what I plan for your drippers. Thanks again for your masterpieces, service and wisdom.

Perseas. Does your spheroid v3 need channels to draw air from the base or does it get its air from the side because I would want to use it on flat top mods?

I take it you have no V4s stashed away?

Any chance you can send me a PayPal invoice and I buy a v3 spheroid (€49 I think) and you send it with my Paps V4 that I ordered on Friday?
Because I don't want to pay shipping twice.

Any chance?

Also, do you have any stainless steel caps for the dripper left?

The GP Spheroid v3 has base air holes not side ones. If you decide to buy it, make a second order and I will merge it with the previous one. I'll refund you the extra shipping of course. No v4 is left, sorry! The SS caps were very few and we chose to sell them as complete devices privately. I had already a few requests. If you send me an email on Monday, I will know if there is any left as a full device though. We have a few more in the polishing facility coupled with bases.

Hello Perseus,

After I balance my checkbook, I suspect I'll be ordering the Dripper Pro.
Two questions:
What are the specs for the o-rings for the Dripper (which I enjoy) and the Dripper Pro?
Your website mentions better performance for the Pro at higher wattages. Could you discuss this a bit more?
Best wishes.
