Well, it seems I have 2 new drippers coming now, as Dariusz from Senio just sent me an email offering me an open spot on his list.

You're right Spydro, it never ends, as I'm waiting for a Squape R also. But it's fun! :p

Thanks bud! He never replied to me the first time, but answered in 5 minutes this time, lol. PayPal transfer done and dripper is being sent on Friday. Super nice guy to deal with.

Got the SS flat top, brushed, 1.3mm, no logo, and a service kit, and with shipping came out to $85. Can't beat that!

Congrats on the Senio... I contacted them at the rec of someone here a couple of days ago, and was shot down.

I love my old Minolta 35mm. She and I, had many good times together. The mountains, the woods, the wildlife, the wolves, my cats, my dogs, the rescued critters, Hubby..... But, yes, PITA to get computer ready pics. I really need to put the purchase of a good digital camera higher on my to-do list! I would love some good pics of my mods!

Regarding a camera, suggestions are welcome. I'm not looking to go crazy with $, but quality is most important. So, $ is not really an issue. Hey, my last personal camera purchase was 20+ years ago. So, this will probably be the last camera I purchase. :)

Yeah I'm probably into my Minolta around $4K at mid 80's prices. Too bad it goes to waste now days, still like new. But it served me well back then for tons of field and macro pictures for a book I did, and tons of use on my copystand.

Can advise of three digital cameras NOT to buy (see above). ;)

'W' deck is primarily for cotton, is that right? I was planning to try SS mesh in the 'S' deck after watching Andrew's review vid.

I'm on the notification list at VapeRev, Intaste, and Cloud 9 Vaping, so whoever gets it first I'll go with. Can't wait.

Yes that is correct, that's why I was almost vaping it dry... Cellucotton in S deck...

Cloud 9 has the other drip tips, I can't figure out how to get the glass out. I wanted to measure it to order spares

Damn, I love Titanium. Despite being "soft", so many of my high end carry knives are wearing Ti. I'm really glad I missed vaporday, cause I probably would have pulled the trigger and I've indulged in the habit too much already this month. :) Gratz to those who scored one! Can't wait to see some photos/reviews. I'm guessing they are quite a bit lighter.

I may just have hit him up at the exact right time, sounded like someone's payment didn't go through or they canceled their order, so he had just the one spot open on the list.

I'd like to try his genesis atty at some point as well.

In regards to cameras, digital SLRs in particular, you cant go wrong with mid priced Canons or Nikons. User friendly and the software is also easy to use once you get them on your computer. As far as photo editing software, Photoshop and NIK plugins are the standard and most useful for realistic enhancements.

One thing I suggest for Cucco who has some shaking issues or hand issues is a tripod and if the camera offers a swing out LCD/LED monitor , It is such a big help....

Oh and for lenses, there are many great lenses for many uses. I have quite an array of lenses for the Canon, and some Nikon lenses I use on my Canon, but the one lens that I use 90% of the time is my 100mm Macro lens.
People often question my reason for it, but both my Nikon 55mm Macro and my Canon take such nice shots from portraits, and outdoor and of course for great close ups. Very little perspective distortion compared to my favorite standard 50/55mm lens.

I finally got my v3 and Heron back from a long vacation. While I was taking it apart for a thorough cleaning, I was reminded about my main pet peeve about the Heron. Whenever I'm disassembling it, it always seems to slice my fingers up. I don't notice until afterwards, I think because the threads are so sharp. I haven't seen anyone else mention this, so I'm thinking that maybe mine is just extra sharp? Any tips on how I can avoid this in the future, or is there a way I can safely dull the threads down without messing them up?

In other news, the new Hellfire dripper on a PAPS v3 is a fantastic vape. I'm looking forward to using the Heron again, after it finishes drying.

Ouch! So tell us, where did your v3 and Heron go on vacation? I hope they had a good time! :)

I speed up the drying process..

Earlier today, i saw a post about someone giving their v3 a little special attention. I found is ironic because i was doing the same thing. I took my heron off my LUX X and decided to try it out on my 18500 v3. Swapped out some pieces and placed it on. It vaped good, but the balance of the mod with the heron was top heavy. It felt a little weird to me, but i just left it like that to try it out for a while. So, as time goes by, i headed to a meeting i was scheduled to be at. Arrived, parked my vehicle and began to exit. As i was exiting the vehicle, i grabbed my phone, a checkbook and my v3/heron in the single holster in the same hand. Stepped out of the vehicle, turned to open the back door and it slid right out, heron side first. Curse words flew through my mind. Reached down to pick it up and see the damage. Not too much actually. Just a small nick on the tube and the drip tip, but still, i was not happy. I knew i should have put my LUX v3 18650 tube with the heron. Much better weight/balance distribution. So, i finished up what i had to do at the meeting, left and switched out the tubes and now i feel a whole lot better. I guess that 18500 v3 tube will be my travel mod for sure now

Hellllooooooo GP!
As always, I hope you all are having a good day! If not....make it good Dammit. Congratulations to all of you Ti owners and to you GP owners in General.

Yankeebroski, You know I had no business even on ECF for even my one post! I am getting myself together today. Loved the moon last night, great photos all! I was not able to have our walk with Howard duh dawg so we sat in our pasture and hung out.

Landman! Thank you for the lists! Who the man today? You are Brocefus.
Spydro, Hope your great! I am starting to believe that your home is a museum and one I could spend days in. SO glad your here man.

Muh buddy Kscog, Try Vaseline on your mods, its the best. Set that Naolox on fire and bury it in a 9x9 foot lead encased tomb in an approved toxic waste disposal site

Well all my talk about the Heron as of late and the delving face first into Rayon lead me to this earlier.

.28 ga coil @ 1.0 ohms with Rayon wick and 90vg/10pg Ahlusions Ginger Lemon Tea. Again, spread the tail in the well, no back and forth wick resistance in coil.

I am going to say that I have been borderline chain vaping on this and another Heron for an hour and no gurgle, no flood, no dry hits and is one of the top 2 vapes in terms of flavor, build and efficiency that I have ever experienced and I have vaped a tank or three :).
The 28 ga wire allows a nice mellow heating approach to vaping at 1.0 ohms and I love the crackling of the juice on the wick when firing.

Love this place....

I'm happy. VapinBill told me to buy it, so I scored a Ti as well. Not sure if I'll be able to work it into my rotation as I too go to some gnarly places. I'll probably be like Bill and only use it on holidays. Maybe I'll just keep it in the box and put it on my dashboard so I can look at it all day while I do work. Oh that reminds me, I need to get some Vaseline.
