Sweet - thanks Perseas! I'll be on the lookout. I'm most excited about the 18500 LUX tube, but I'd get an 18650 LUX tube too.

You delivered on my desires for spare GPins and now 18500 LUX tubes for the X. I can only imagine that a v3 flat top cap with a GPin is next.

I couldn't think that the redesigned top cap with just 1 mm grooves would be such an annoyance, but well, the beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

As for the X, a change like this would make it similar with many other mods.

Very true..... I do like the AFC control, I use the Odys on it and love the added air. I guess I misunderstood the quote that I quoted.... I really like the top cap on the X. It is designed so well, the atties screw down with such ease and smoothness, no need to crank them down and scrape up the top contact. Perfectly snug....

I am the same way. I love the top cap design on the X. I frequently run my Spheroids on the X, and the AFC works perfectly.....And as anavidfan said, there is less surface area to get scuffed up by attys....Today, I over-dripped into my Tobh, and the little juice well in the X top cap collected the juice perfectly that came out the air holes of the Tobh, allowing me to blot it out with a paper towel. I am definitely a fan of the existing X top cap...

I won't do such an adapter, because in my eyes it is a half cooked attempt for a hybrid look, not an elegant or a flexible solution. An atomizer with a 510 or 201 connection upon a mod (Heron - tube - switch) creates a whole with just 3 - 4 parts, less is more.

I won't do such an adapter, because in my eyes it is a half cooked attempt for a hybrid look, not an elegant or a flexible solution. An atomizer with a 510 or 201 connection upon a mod (Heron - tube - switch) creates a whole with just 3 - 4 parts, less is more.

The channels are certainly nice, as I do frequently run Spheroids on my V3's...but I think having one flat top cap would be kinda cool, as I could run one of the channeled top caps on my 18350 tube (with Spheroid), and the flat top cap on an 18500 tube....Then, I would just need one spare V3 switch to have a complete separate 18350 setup!

Don't get me wrong. The 500 tubes for the X are intriguing to me. We both love the 500 size most. BUT it's not a show stopper for one extra seam.

Besides, then we have tubes, and unused tubes lead to more caps and buttons because who wants to leave unused tubes around.

And this is where it just doesn't end. Spares lead to more spares. Then you have just one missing piece. THEN you complete the spare functioning mod.

But somehow, you end up with another spare part, and the cycle starts all over.
