Yes thanks that helps with the top of the wick. Now, how about the tails? Touching the deck or cut close to the coil without touching the deck?

I suppose that depends on juice ratio. To start, me personally, I leave a little extra around the deck just to soak up any errant juice that doesn't wick. As long as you have a good wick and filler setup it shouldn't matter too much. Just experiment. Every once in awhile pop the cap off and see if any juice is puddling down there. That should give you the answer.

With the Spheroid, I push both the top and the tails up into the tank.

With the Heron, I tuck the tails down into the drip well. That side will wick anything that drips into it when I get impatient and overfill my fluff. =P

I know I posted this previously but here it is again. I don't make my tails quite this long anymore.

Secret Summer Santa Contest

A GP Family Forum Member wishes to sponsor a 'Secret Summer Santa Contest', to show their love and appreciation for the incredible love and kindness, exhibited by the 'GP Family Members' on a daily basis. The contest will gift five winners, with a GP Paps X 1.5 + X Ring for each one of them.

The first 15 replies from different posters with a quote of that post and a number from 0-15000 will be combined in a certain way to show the winners who will be chosen from their posts in the previous main thread.
The results will be announced up to one day after the 15 first responses.

Welcome to Part 3 and enjoy!

Kewl! =D Thanks! I don't use my web-browser for this forum, much, so I'm still kinda puttering about...

See... I forgot the order by count(posts) DESC at the end. Heh!

My primary career is computers ... and I guess we have something in common: That's not where I'm making money, either! *smirk*

I've been trying to figure out how to make making a living easier and more enjoyable. Haven't found it yet!

I did many things. But, buying and selling heavy equipment during a construction boom, was a real good thing! :)

2nd winner is newyork13 with post #6233

Could one of you kind folks enlighten me.
When using the Heron or Spheroid (and I guess the first question is: they are basically the same technology except for size and shape, right?),
when one changes juices/flavors, (question two) does one need to pull out and clean or replace the filler material to avoid melding flavors?
And three, are they intended to work with GP mods (which I hope to acquire at some not too distant point) or will they function well with my Provari?

I'm completely intrigued by the devices and their beauty, but clearly don't understand how they work overall.
Thanks.

I have a question about the PnB tool. When polishing my stuff, I have been applying polish and just "hand" polishing with a microfiber towel. If I want to use the tool and not change the polished, satin, etc. look, what would I spin the atty or mod in, just a towel? I want to try it but not change the finish, just remove some light surface scratches or marring! Please advise before I make a mess!!
