Yup. Fired a dude. A couple of days later, he burned down our house. Crazy story. We were not living in it at that moment. So nobody got hurt. Burned some of my beautiful very old trees! That was sad! What a very sad mess it was. Life is funny! :)

That's crazy. I hope that he was prosecuted and charged with arson. I love how you're so matter of fact about it and all the other funny/crazy stuff that you've lived through. What a ride!

Speaking of which. I did a v3 gpin cleaning today and noticed that a couple of the little brass bits are somewhat discolored and the toothbrush and dishliquid didn't help. Do I need to do more, and what's recommended?

Rub it with a wet green scotch-brite to become clean and shiny again, don't hesitate to do it, it's brass :)

I agree but need a bit of help with this:

Just going to leave this here....

Don't clean your GP gear too much. Unless it is juice leaks. I think some think about this far too hard.
Soft tooth brush, warm water, mild dw soap.
I would bet most of the silver in this family is far from tarnishing. When your changing out your batts feel free to OCCASIONALLY dampen a cloth with Alcohol and wipe down contacts.

Cape Cod and Autosol, Mothers works too.
I hate Never Dull. Cheap a ss crap.

I have a UC...love it......mostly for steeping juices :). I use it not very often to clean stuff mostly small gun parts and a few contacts or to get the initial oil off devices.

Just saying, I dont think each week we need a full breakdown....maybe if you chain vape and have only one mod.

Enjoy your GP :)

I use mesh to clean brass contacts when I see they need a touch up. I have enough left from my gennie days. :)

Well I have worked on my vape stuff the last 3 nights for a couple hour each night and I am about caught up for the moment!! I washed mods, attys, refilled tanks, recoiled, rewicked, etc. I got my second heron going with the 510 adaptor on a Paps v3 650 mode...tried the castle reserve as someone mentioned and on the Heron it is fantastic since I didn't care for it in drippers or rtas!! I changed the v3 switches pins to silver, I didn't notice much difference in performance though but happy I accomplished that!!
The only question I have is the v3 switch button is a little discolored from where I use my pinkie, what do I clean the bottom brassy looking switch with to keep the color consistent as it was new? It has become a darker color around the outside of the inner area where my pinkie fires the switch!!

I must say that I am pretty pleased with myself in getting alot done!! Thanks for all your suggestions and help to make this a fun experience!!

Trying to keep the button like new will mean perpetual cleaning. If you insist, mothers or Autosol :).
*sending a brother 1 white glove.....

Oh wait, buy a pinkie/finger condom. Like Cuccos assistents use when flipping through money or paperwork. :)

I still have my MJ white glove, I am good!! I just didn't want to put anything on it and it rub the color/finish completely off, I would then be ...... as I love my v3 switches!! Idaho, you the man, thanks for sending me out a couple insulators!!
